Hi all, I'm not really the kind of person who normally posts on forums etc, but have been lurking here since July 2014 when I quit smoking, no analogs since then, still vaping strong. Just wanted to say thanks to all for the great info on here, I started with a vision spinner kit which was great at the time, but thanks to peoples comments and a desire for something better a couple months back picked up an IPV3 with an istick as backup, a couple of lemos, a lemo drop and a plume veil, all of which are amazing. The difference in quality of vape is honestly probably what has kept me off the analogs, I've also dropped the nic level to a point where I could probably chuck it all in the garbage and wouldn't jones too terribly much! Right now liking it too much for that though. Never thought it could happen as I've tried all the "quit smoking" products and methods out there, but could never get it to last. Now when I'm around smokers I find myself starting to get preachy at the poor lost souls still stuck on their cancer sticks with no idea how lousy it is and how good it could be, I have to give my head a shake, back off a bit, let em try a couple of puffs and usually its blamo! another convert on the way! I always take the time to explain the vaping experience (as seen by me) and if they have questions I don't know the answers to I point them towards this place and its wealth of info. Anyway don't want to sound too gushy but this place is great, thanks for taking the time to post all the info you all have, it has helped me at least quite a bit, and hopefully will help others as well.

Thanks for the welcomes! Any of you using a dna40 device? Now that ive sort of got the hang of coil making and wicking my lemos on the ipv3 of course they've come out with something better! I really like the idea of temp control for the wire and to prevent charring, but was thinking of waiting a few more months to see if it gets improved again or at least price dropped. If I was to spring for the vapourflask is it worth it, or would you recommend a different temp control device?

It's nice to read all the success stories. I too have tried all the other methods and have only found vaping to be successful. I never got excited about sticking a patch on or popping a piece of gum, but all the gadgets I get to play with i every day and different builds I get to try etc., is what keeps me off the cancer sticks. Reading this post or that post during the day while I'm at work I often tend to rush home and try the things I've learned and believe me I've learned some good stuff here :)

Yeah, stop smoking aids don't really address the psychology of smoke addiction at all, pretending that it's all a physical nicoteen reaction is kind of naive IMHO. Vaping kicks any other methods *** as far as I'm concerned, the only down side is that it's VERY enjoyable and hard to put down. Surprisingly though, I haven't had too much trouble reducing the nice level down to between 3 - 10 depending on the juice and the device.
