I'm planning to get an rba, but I'm on a budget. In addition, my favourite flavours are citrus and aniseed, so I'm looking for something with a pyrex tank. I would like a capacity of 3-4 mL.

Having done some reading and watching videos, I am down to:

1. smok pyrex RSST link

2. Russian 91% link (though this is suspiciously cheap, listing says it is made in china, not Germany)

3. AGA T2 Link

The issue that I have with the Russian 91% is that it comes with steel and acrylic tank sections. I want to avoid plastic due to my flavour preferences, and a steel tank section doesn't appeal because it's opaque. On the other hand, the Russian 91% wins easily for aesthetics in my opinion - but I'm a practical type and I don't want to trade functionality just to look cool.

My question is, does anyone have any other suggestions for a first RBA in a similar price range that has a pyrex tank and a 3-4 mL capacity (and is good)?

I have a Russian 91% clone from fasttech and have not had issues with the fact you can't see juice levels so far. I would also say it has the best flavour of any of my RBA's.

Aga-t2+ can be found for a reasonable price locally and the glass tank is a big plus. Very similar to the TD but doesn't have the dual function.

Ok I went to that page and found the Russian on there. Compared to my genuine Russian I'd say the one on the link you posted is a clone. I noticed four things right off the bat that give it away. The finish is different, the lettering is too bold, the top of the chimney isn't flat and the price is too cheap. Hth

Thanks to all about the clone info. I did suspect it wasn't genuine given the price. I don't have a problem with ordering a clone, but if I do I want it to be a clone that's been reviewed and is identifiable so I can gauge its quality.

Here's a real one. And they have it in Stock. Probably not for long after I post this though!

Thanks for the link but I'm in the UK, so I'm not going to US due to import tax/duty, time etc. I can get one from mainland europe (ezig-online.de) but it's 70 Euro (~£60), which is too much. My limit is really about £40.

I might go for higher end stuff once I am familiar with RBAs, but for now I want to start on something fairly inexpensive.

I've read and seen some good reviews on the kayfun lite plus black edition clone. And I think it's in your price range as well. Just FYI.

Russian is good, if you want something easier to setup, get an Ithaka style ( original, clone, hercules ...whatever ) , at the beginning the Nr-R-NR resistance maybe seems complicated, but is the easiest setup on the market ( at elast for me )

Hmm. I had an Ithaka and a Penelope clone and I don't see how you think they're easier than a kayfun style. IMHO they're both a pita and I got rid of them with a quickness. Sounds like you must not have used a Russian or kayfun. Just sayin.

I have the tobeco KFL clone and works great. I bought the short clear center section too and haven't had a problem.

Its 40 bucks here and the clear tank is 5-6 bucks too.

I have the rsst and it's in a drawer since I got my KFL. The KFL are easy to build and running a micro coil with cotton has loads of flavor and nice vape.

$15 IGO-L will give you awesome vapor and wide open deck to build coil. First step into rebuildables shouldn't about picking out the setup. It is all about learning about battery and building coils/wicks. Very easy to do on RDA and if you make mistake, you don't have a tank full of juice to clean out.

Once you get comfortable with coils, you can start doing SS mesh and other vertical wicks for RBA tanks.

AGI can be used as both RDA and RBA. Pretty cheap and a good start topper.
