First rebuild

I am thinking of rebuilding my nova style clearmizer and I am wondering what I should get for wick and wire? Not sure what gauge to get and where is the best place to get it. If you can give a rookie some advise it would be great.

For a vivi nova head, I usually use 33 or 32 gauge Kanthal A1, which requires less wraps for desired resistance.

For the wick, I use either cotton or ss mesh, but most use silica.

When using an all VG liquid, the rubber insulators tend to burn some what because its difficult for the liquid to travel down to the insulator to cool the "hot legs" due to the viscosity, but the twisted legs help reduce the amount of heat by lowering resistance.
