first recoil

i just made my first coil--a recoil of cheap ce5 clearizer--just for first time experience--i used kanthal 32--about 4- wraps---was a pain getting it centered but finnaly got it correct and it tested at 1.4 ohm on my vtr


put it on my swig with some apple juice and it works nicely--lots of vapor but 0 flavor


actaully i havnot tried this juice but it smells nice so there should be flavor


becasue i am using good quality coil and wick it seems to work much better than the standard setup but---wheres the flavor??

not enough wick?--seems like plenty of vapor so should not be that although i used only one strand of that thick cotton wick


too low ohms for 32 kanthal? not enough wraps?


getting a slight burning flavor-- have my device on minimum volts

if i want to get higher ohms then i would use more wraps? different gauge kanthal?

More wraps will give you a higher resistance... However I don't think your resistance is your problem... Sounds to me like you have a hot spot. The slight burning flavor would indicate a minor hot spot or something going on with your wick.... Is your cotton organic or if not did you boil it? Possible contamination in the cotton causing funny taste? Is there enough juice on the wick? Could also just be dry hits. Just a few things to try... Hard to say without seeing the build.
