Hi guys,

I joined ECF over a year ago and started my journey on quitting smoking and learning how to Vape. It really is thanks to this forum I found out that I was not stuck with the cig style ecigs bought at drug stores. I have always been thankful for that.

Long story short I started off with a nice Riva pen style ecig, then to a Roughstack, then to a Vmod XL.

The Vmod introduced me to how much I liked bottom feeders, and while I think it is a good mod, it broke down in less than a year. One accidental drop too many I believe. After the casing bent to far and the firing mechanisms lodged loose, the only way it would work was to take it apart down to it's skeleton.

I researched bottom feeders to see what else was out there and post after post mentioned the Reo's as the "Endgame" for bottom feeders. I think the common quote was "Stop thinking about it and get one. You'll thank us later"

Well I am here to thank you all. My Reo arrived about 4 days ago and I am been enjoying every Vape I can get out of it. I am rough on a lot of my toys and you can just feel how sturdy this thing is. It just feels natural for me and I can honestly say I am hooked on Reo mods.

If you read this, thank you Rob. You made one heck of a mod and are one heck of a nice guy from the few emailed I received by you.

And to go with this post, a couple of Pics of my new Reo Grand:

That's a good lookin Reo. Makes me want to get a red door for mine.

Thanks for sharing your vmod experience. I will need a small summertime vape at some point soon & was considering a vmod 2.0, but the more I read the more I want to stay in Reoville for the long haul. The women are better looking!!

Congrats! Welcome to REOville! You now have THE best PV around. Seems like I've said this a few times recently but here goes, "you have the best, so hell with the rest"!:toast:
Looks like your next step is strapping on a RBA onto that bad boy! :)

Welcome to the Reo(L) World!! Mighty fine looking Grand you go there.
Whats even better is that you get to hang out in our forum where you can get help most anytime. Rob (redeyedancer) reads most posts if people have any issues with his products and so a great help if needed. Nut to mention he's quick to answer emails, pm's and phone calls. You've found the ultimate bottom feeder mod so enjoy it until you feel like you need another and another, because its that good.

Join us in the lounge when you have time, where you'll get to meet the greatest folks in the ecf.

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes all.

The VMOD was not bad at all. I really can't bash it as it served me well for the amount of time I had it. I think they go for around 80.00 normally but I got a 50% off coupon for Black Friday, so I got it for around 40.00... But if I got it late November, and it fell apart on me by late January, that kind of says a thing or two.

Granted that thing went with me everywhere and was dropped more times than I care to admit to. I think because of its all plastic parts it was not meant to be for me.

The Reo is so solid though. Silly comparison, but to me the Vmod felt like a sandisk MP3 player you can buy for 19.99 at Frys.

The Reo felt like a 64 gig iPad.

Very nice looking Grand! It was one I considered before opting for the all Black Wrinkle one I bought. Is that the Mahogany door, the Red door, or the Red Metallic door? (I wanted all three!)

Haha I feel the same way. I was looking over the section of doors and just kept saying "That one, that one... of and that one"

And thank you Rob. It is a great device you have created and just like so many others here, I belive you made another fan for life.

Congrats and welcome - you made a great choice! If you browse this forum, you'll find stories of REO's that have been run over by trucks, left in a muddy field, submerged in cooler full of water for a couple days, dropped from great heights, subjected to dirt, sawdust, paint - you name it. You know, just everyday life. They take a licking and keep on ticking ;-)
