First Rule of Vape Club...

Been at this a week now... rolled up to work on Monday and all my co-workers of course asked what the hell my PV was. Since Monday, out of the 10 or so smokers at the job, 2 have ordered starter kits, 3 or 4 are probably very close to ordering, and all of the rest have expressed serious interest.

I feel like I'm some sort of oracle of information, and thanks to these forums I have many of the answers.

For my particular smoker's ring, it almost seems like a "wild fire". I feel like I wanna keep this new "secret" on the down-low to keep it from getting any major attention.

I'm really concerned that big ole tobacco will throw money to crush this wonderfull'ness. The thought of going back to tobacco, even after only vaping for only ONE WEEK seems to me oh so horrid a thought.

Isn't it great being an Ambassador for ecigs? I believe that all of us have been at one time or another. If we can get at least one person off the analogs, what a success and you are certainly doing a fantastic job! Congrats on your one week anniversary! Wish you continued success and happy vapes!

It's far too late for that. Big Tobacco is keenly aware of vaping, but that may turn out to be a good thing for vapers (who knows?). In my opinion, the safest course for vapers to take is to make more people aware of vaping, and to be very courteous about vaping around others. Small, quiet groups of people are much easier to marginalize (politically) than large, vocal groups.

Viix- my hubs is the Airforce ambassador, he's got a LOT of his smoking buddies interested, and of those a couple have already ordered starter kits. I MUST remember to tell him to give them linkage to this forum, since he's just handing out the buisness cards.

I run my own computer repair business and have already gotten a few of my smoking customers interested. One had me bookmark this forum and one of the suppliers for him.

Not a lot of people in Canada are aware. I got mine on Wednesday and have been analog free since.
I have about 14 people ordering kits this week and another 20 or more interested.
My work has over 400 employees with approx 50% smokers. Word keeps passing around and almost everyone is intrigued cause I quit so quickly.

Interesting -

I find most smokers recoil in terror when they hear about a PV, but non-smokers I encounter think it is pretty cool. The non-smokers and never smokers usually ask me to blow it at them to see if they can smell it, lol.

My never-smoker hubby says he cannot smell it at all unless he sticks his face in the fog, and even then the only time he can detect it is by tasting it on my lips if he kisses me shortly after I take a hit.

My first post. I became interested when a guy at work was doing it too. That was about 9 days ago. Since then I've been lurking and learning. I ordered all my stuff yesterday, so I'm joining your club! Is there a secret handshake?

When I start something new I tend to go all-in. Especially when I'm pretty sure I will enjoy it. So I ordered the BB and the pass-thru too. I got the adapters so I can try it with all the different attys. Can't wait till it gets here.

My only complaint is I had to order all the stuff from 3 different places. One place is out of stock on an item, another place has way better pricing on attys, but doesn't have juice, etc..

good deal for you viix!! weird, i don't think any of us ever spread the work about smoking . i have given away my first two starter sets, a complete 510 kit, and at least half a dozen mods to friends, co-workers, neighbors. when i check in with them they all say they're either not smoking, or having just 1 or 2 a day. let's talk about vape club!!

Wow, that is an unusual level of commitment, not to mention resourcefulness and competency. By that, I mean most people aren't able to sift through so much info, and also comprehend so many concepts, as to arrive at such an optimal decision in such a short time. Then pull the trigger.

I understand how that can be annoying and confusing, but it also means that there is more freedom, choices, and consumer-leverage than would exist if the only supplier was "Wal-vape".

I hear you about the ambassador part... whenever I whip it out around others... they want one too.

I do occasionally run into people who are more fearful of the potential health problems of vaping. I really don't know what to say there... I mean... cigarettes are bad too... probably worse... I am not a good ambassador when I am asked about the potential health problems... I am educating myself on this site about that issue and those questions. One thing I surely know is that I would do or try almost anything to get off of analogues.

These e-cigs... wow... For 10 days now, I have been able to quit a pack/pack and a half 20 year habit with little or no effort.

I've just recently converted my self to vape and a couple of family members have shown interest
i started smoking at 13 years old and my favorite poison was hand-rolling tobacco with no filter for 21 years
its only been 4 days since my last analog and already i can taste better i can smell better
my home no longer smells like an ashtray
my body feels 4000 chemicals lighter so the first rule of vape club is to get more in the club

Interesting posts to make me think that I can help with converting a few smokers myself. I work for a large transportation company and I know of two of us who have recently converted to vaping. I know of one of my friends that quit but she had a very bad day Friday and after 57 days was about ready to kill for an analog which I let her argue with me until the craving passed. I am going to work on this and hopefully will be able to convert some people at work also.

It is amazing, the reactions I get. Smokers and nonsmokers alike express great interest, and though I've only been using my 510s for just over a week now, already one co-worker has bought some as well, just after trying mine once.
It's pretty awesome really, when smoking, nearby nonsmokers avoided me like I was a homeless man trying to urinate on their shoes, but with my e-smoke, they all want to check it out. It's funny how they always sniff the air, just looking for something to disapprove of, and not finding it

I've gotten a few people at school interested, they see a blue light and "smoke", and instantly become intrigued, i usually carry around a few extra mouth pieces (i drip, so i just tear apart carts), so a few people can try it, and usually like it, even more if i got a good flavor going. last week alone 3 people i talked to ordered kits, i feel like im doing my good deeds for the year.
