I haven't been playing piano much at all for the past couple of years, but I got the itch to record something tonight. So I revamped a tune I wrote back around 2004 or so, called 'One Last Ride'. It felt funny not to have to run out to the garage to have a cig every so often as I used to do during the process. Anyway, here it is, rust and all:

It's shame that you haven't been playing much. Your music is beautiful pianoguy!

VERY nice. I enjoyed it immensely! I just told my husband that I should go buy me some piano compilation discs to listen to on the go....I then asked him if it meant I was getting old if I just wanted to listen to piano, bag pipes, jazz, and such without music. He rolled his eyes..You know, I don't guess it matters IF I'm getting older as long as I'm growing wiser as I do it! Thanks for sharing. I hope to hear more of your music (as I'm growing older) :)

There is a fair amount on the site (I think 54 tracks), so it might be easier to search by the Music Genre categories for a style of music you prefer.

Being a piano player, you might dig this one.

That's very tasty, great stuff! I'll be sure to check out the others as well. I see you used a Kurzweil on some of your tracks - I bought a PC3X a while back, but haven't done much with it yet.

Thanks.

Yes. I have two Kurzweil pieces. The PC88 and the Micropiano. The PC88 is a fantastic controller. It plays and feels almost like my Steinway. The Steinway is a little lighter on the action actually. The Micropiano is just a box with the same piano sounds as the PC88.

I haven't used the PC3X, but from what I can tell most of the Kurzweil weighted action is good.
