Hey guys,
I am looking to try my first tank. My only concern is that I have small kids arounds and afraid that it would come apart if by chance they got their hands on it. I saw there is a locking one out now, U DCT I think. Considering I have never used a tank at all let alone this one any suggestions on battery and cartos. Also how long do cartos last? How many should I order so as not to run out? Any suggestions and help here would be great as I am a total newb when it comes to these.

Thanks

There's 100 different tanks so....100 different answers!

My (low end but I love it) Vivi Nova screws on fairly tightly as far as the top/bottom threads around the tank go. The drip tip in the top will pull out.

Basically.... you don't ever want your kids getting hands on them anyway. Choking danger from drip tips and stuff too I suppose.

Battery is ...preference IMO. It's basically an ohms thing. Ohms are ohms, so amps are amps and volts are volts. The device doesn't know if it's a tank, atty, carto, or a light bulb that's screwed on.

As to types of tanks...I'd consider one that is rebuildable. They are more "state of the art" IMO. Also, you can stock up on wire and mesh/wick and be prepared for the zombie invasion. The other main type is carto tanks...have a bunch of cartos. Kinda depends on the juice and vaping style. What do you use now? That should give you some indication of carto use per month.
