With my ever-expanding variety of brand new NT flavors sitting in my vape basket I decided to try The Virus next. Cleaned my tank and coil - put in a little over 3ml and sat down to have an introductory meeting with this "infection" fresh from the bottle with my morning (*cough* afternoon, I slept in *cough*) coffee.

Using: Provari with Aspire Nautilus tank - played with various voltages.

First Impression: Uhhh... I taste fresh cut grass? Something "out doorsy"? Something undefinable but familiar - but - not in a good way? It was definitely different. It wasn't bad - but didn't hit for me for the first 30 minutes or more.

I powered on because it wasn't bad, I just couldn't figure out what I was tasting! My initial reaction was to add some BG or Strawnilla (which I have not tried yet but smelling those bottles makes me drool  ) - I resisted and kept vaping trying to figure out what I was tasting.

This is my first experience with NET so I'm not sure if my first impression was because of the flavor profile of the tobacco or... I don't know!??

About an hour in I settled at 4.2 volts - I exhaled and tasted honey! Not generic honey - locally made clover honey. Not overly sweet at all but - honey... hrrrm... getting better! This is getting interesting.

I've been vaping this tank all day and it keeps getting better and better...

It's mellow... smooth... not in my face full of any one particular flavor... it's growing on me!

The longer I vape it the better it's getting, but I'm having the hardest time trying to describe the flavor profiles on this one.

I'm not getting maple, vanilla, caramel or any of the other flavors that I see a lot of people getting from this juice. What I *am* getting is certainly keeping me entertained and satisfied...

Maybe some steep time will bring other flavors forward?

I do know that I will keep on vaping this. It's an enigma. :)

I also know that before the night is up I will be trying some Strawnilla... or... BG... or Gravity... or...

Help! You people have totally corrupted me
:vapor:

I get waffles and my non-vape buddies swear there is a hot maple syrup smell to go along with it...

I think there's so much stuff in there, that it's constantly changing--by the minute really. Some days it tastes totally different to me than others. It always has this "Virus" taste to it, enough so for me to always recognize and take solace in it. Today...I get STRONG, STRAIGHT UP caramel, but ONLY if I blow it a certain way out of my mouth -- no lung inhale or nose involved. Pressing my lips together and forcing the air out = caramel. Delicious, gooey caramel.

Coffee! That's it! That's what I couldn't describe! Just a very subtle hint of it... and it just keeps changing...

I'm just now starting to get a very slight caramel/maple taste on the exhale.

I can't smell the exhaled vapor from my own vape but I can smell it from someone else's exhale - so I handed my PV to my BF and told him to take a good draw and exhale in my face...

"beer, I only smell beer" Experiment Fail

I haven't quit this tank yet!! I went from "this just isn't hitting for me" to... "I want to try Strawnilla but I can't stop vaping this Virus"

Exactly...

I gave Foxy a tank of virus and her first hit she looked like this  second hit  third hit :glare: fourth hit :?: fifth hit  and then she didn't put it down...:headbang:

It's the VERY FIRST thing my wife asked me on the first day I vaped the Virus.......
"Have you been eating pancakes or waffles?????"
Over time (nearly 2 months now.....) I've noticed the maple note has diminished....it's still there, but not nearly as prominent as it was FOOB....
So....in medical terms....I guess you could say I'm "still infected, but with varying contraindications......."!!;)
And -- to quote Seinfeld -- "Not that there's anything WRONG with that....":D
Happy (vaping) Trails!

So I was determined to find those waffles (another forbidden food for me) and syrup this morning in my love hate relationship with this much beloved juice. Yep, there's the caramel. Or is that maple? I think there's pancakes in there. Why can't I smell my own vape? Geesh, let's try a little longer and see if the dogs notice. Where's the bacon juice?

It's been on every order since the beginning of my NT journey and still can't nail it down. I have one Reo set up exclusively for it and it's with me all day, every day. It seems the flavors change up on me depending on how I set my coils, wicks, etc. But each time, it's a favorite, along with Wakonda in my other Reo. If you haven't been infected, you NEED to!

Sounds like I may have to try this one, I don't really want the tobacco flavor but I am interested in the maple, waffles, and coffee notes it seems to evoke in others.

Just started vaping a little over a week ago and all I've been using is belgian waffle, and maple because they compliment my coffee, so a vape with all 3 together might help me with my caffeine addiction.

I drink coffee almost exclusively year round so I want flavors that will compliment it and it sounds like the virus might be one even if it is a NET

You will find that NT's tobacco juices are not an in your face tobacco, they are sneaky and delicious! GCD is also very much in your face and fantastic with your morning coffee...;)
