Hi Forum,
I've been lurking for a while, so thanks for helping me get started with vaping!
I just wrapped my first coil and fired it up last night (iGo-L on a Twist, 30 awg kanthal on 2x2mm silica.) Worked great, fantastic flavor, good vapor production. Now for the questions:
I used about 4 drops at a time, and got 6 - 8 good pulls before I got a bad tasting (is this what is referred to as "dry"?) hit, then 4 drops, repeat. Do experienced drippers have a technique to avoid taking a drag off of a dry wick, or do you just get used to the occasional disappointing hit? Am I doin' it wrong? The wick still looks wet when this happens, so I can't identify it by looking alone.
Also, i switched flavors a couple times last night, and experienced some "cross contamination" during the first few drags between flavors. Is there a good way to avoid this?
Cheers!
