I'm trying to decide between greensmoke and esmoke...

Greensmoke seems good, but I'm hesitant about their warning regarding shipping time and customs. Are they not U.S. based?

Esmoke also seems good, but appears as though their starter pack doesn't allow you to specify nicotine strength. Is that right? I'm looking for 6mg.

Thanks all.

I had started with the green smoke, and wish i had done more research before had. I liked it for the first day maybe, but after that and doing more research and trying other models (check my sig) I ended up with a 510 that I liked way more than the two piece systems.. The price the Green Smoke wants is way to high, and lack of flavors doesn't make it worth it.

Only downfall on the 510 was battery life. Then I found the eGo w/a LR atty.... absolutely LOVE IT.

I tried to do the 30 day money back blah blah blah from green smoke, but was denied do tiny lil paint chips on the battery from normal use (putting in my pocket). That ended with me switching to another PV and their return policy changing hours after my attempt to return the product.

so all in all... i recommend the eGo with a LR atty... vapor monster with long battery life!

My greensmoke was shipped from Florida, but took a week, and ithink cost about $10 for shipping. Maybe a lil less

Hint: stay away from those overpriced kits. Keep on reading and you'll find much better products at much lower cost.

BTW...none of them seems good....at all.

Check the suppliers forum here at ECF.
Thanks for the tip! I'm all for saving some $$$.

To be honest this is all overwhelming. I want to order something asap so I can quit this nasty habit (planning on using e-cigs only for 1-3 months). I don't have time to spend hours shifting through reviews. Can you recommend a starter kit for me that's similar in style to green/e-smoke? I've been a pack a day smoker for 10 years. Just want something "similar" to Parliament Lights.

Many thanks.

Also, am I right to assume I need 6mg? I smoke Parliament Lights - and the sites seem to suggest 6mg for people that smoke light cigarettes. But on the forums it seems people say a higher dosage is needed?

I was a red smoker, and started with 8mg from Greensmoke (Which is what they recommended), and it didn't seem high enough. I now have an assortment of levels for what im feeling when I vape.... ranging from 0 - 24 mg. Really all depends on what you feel you need. 6 or 8 may be a lil low, but you wont know until you try it.

I have read a couple different threads about how much nicotine is absorbed compared to analogs, and there really is no quick/easy answer, however it seems the amount of nicotine absorbed from vaping is lower than and analog. Therefore a higher liquid or cart is needed

Thanks all.

Your story was the exact same as mine. I went greensmoke too and I wish I found this forum first.

I bought the kr808d-1 from vapor4life.com. It's wayyyy better than the E9 from greensmoke and they have better flavors and customer service.

I would get that IMO. Their cowboy and parliament flavors are good as I was a parliament light menthol guy myself.

I smoked about 2 packs/day of Marlboro Lights for nearly 30 years. I'm vaping 24 mg juice, and it's working well for me.

The Joye 510 or the kr808 come highly recommended for beginners. Get replacement batteries and atomizers, and also get some e-liquid. The atomizer needs to be moist, and cartridges will run dry within an hour. You need e-liquid to refill the cartridges and to add a couple of drops to the atomizer to prime it.

Good Luck!

I started on 6-8mg. I vape 18 now. I would say get the 11's as a starting point. It's like a light-reg cig.

i'm also using the Vocano Magma right now and am happy with it overall. i'm using the blue foam and liquid from Tasty Vapor (very, very happy with their product and service). they're also local so it only takes a day for me to get stuff from them. i'm currently using 12mg liquid and a pack of analogs lasts me 3 days now (did a pack a day for almost 15 years). i just put in another order today and my roommate, who also has a Magma, wanted some 24mg liquid so i'll have to see how that compares.

i'm thinking about ordering a Chuck within the next couple of days though. from my research i think it will be a bit better for me.
