hey everyone.
so this week is the first vacation time i've booked in 4 years. this is also my first short trip as a vaper. going to my first music festival with my partner and some friends. i'm pretty nervous and excited. i've left all my preparation for today, which may not have been the wisest choice.
i'm for the first time in a very long time short on vaping supplies, so i can't be as freely overprepared as i would like. at least i know my set up is solid enough that i'm not going to run into any real rough spots.
for myself i am taking:
p+ 18650 + 2x 2600 mah aw's
evic + 2x 3400 mah panasonic's
4 3.5 ml vivi novas (two coils need to be rinsed/dry burned soon, 2 coils are working after their first rinse) + an emtpy teflon'd extra with a fresh coil
ah! two nights, two days, the trip back, and no power. hopefully all will be well. anyone been on a similar camping trip before? any challenges present themselves?

this is also the first weekend i will be away from the cat family. one of them is diabetic, the other needs laxatives twice daily. suckered my mom into minding their meds while i am gone, i just hope they are ok while i am gone as well. here's to hoping for a good weekend for everyone.

I just went camping last weekend. I decided, since I can't afford to buy a mobile charging station, that it would just be easier to buy smokes for the weekend. My fiance was worried that I would keep smoking when we got home. I didn't. I smoked all weekend, and vaped as long as my battery lasted, then I came home, charged my battery, and tossed the smokes. But that only works if you were able to just switch to vaping as easily as I did.

Alternatively, if you're bringing a car and you have a USB charger that works in your car, just use that. You can charge a battery for MANY HOURS without killing the car battery as long as you're plugging it directly into the car power and not using an inverter. And since you have two batteries, just make sure you always have a full charge on one of them, and worry no more. :)

Good luck, and let us know how you came out...I have a three trips at the end of July and early August, which are also my first as a vaper. I will have access to power, but I am already preping to figure out what I need. Especially in the juice department.

Also, I would consider bringing along a few nJoy throwaways. I ran out of battery power on my afternoon commute, and had an hour left. Luckily, I had an old nJoy in my car that actually did pretty good at getting me through the stretch.

iTaste MVP is a great solution to battery issues. I regularly go 2-3 days without charging it and I vape like a disco fog machine.

Or if you have a car and a Tenergy type IMR battery charger you could go this route

Amazon.com: BESTEK 150w power inverter car dc 12v to 110v ac inverter dc adapter laptop charger notebook adapter dc charger ac adapter usb charger Dual USB 3.1A MRI1511FU: Car Electronics

Charging with a dc-ac inverter will drain your car battery very quickly. Better to have a USB charger you can plug into your cars power socket for direct dc-dc charging. That will run nearly no risk of killing your car battery, as long as you don't leave your headlights on.

Just got back Monday from a 17 day multi state trip (Indiana, Illinois, Nevada, and California). I took Flings (disposable
cigs from White Cloud) cuz I didn't want to mess with juice or re-charging, or dropping or losing a battery. I can buy the
flings on sale for less than $3 each and they last me all day (about 26 hours). It worked fantastically. No one said a peep,
and I vaped just about everywhere.

thanks everyone!
if in the future i make a real camping trip i'll be sure to get some solar powered external battery packs. boyfriend has already said no to using the car battery, as the car in general needs extra tlc. i am thankful for the availability of disposables, if need be i can always pick one or two up on the way back.
the time to go is nearing, i will let you all know how it went!
