I bought my first mech and RDA last week and after some great advice from Stae O' Flux (thank you again), I had decided that I would like to try 28 gauge Kanthal vs. the 30 gauge I had been using.
I couldn't wait until after the holiday to buy some 28 gauge, and had heard that a twisted 30 gauge pair was the same (or extremely close). While waiting for my local shop to open this morning (impatiently), I decided to try it.
Tell me what you guys think (be gentle, lol).
Any suggestions?
It's 2 30 gauge twisted pairs with an 7/8 wrap on a 1/16 drill bit. It's on a smok Caterpillar RDA to be used on a smok Magneto.
It came out at .4ohm, but not real confident in my aging multimeter (buying new one today). I was shooting for .6....missed, lol.
Should still be within the capability of my AW IMR 18490 batteries, but going this low makes me wonder if I should look into some protected ones.
Anyways, all input is welcome and appreciated.
Thanks.
