First vape - Disgusting.

lol... sigh i remember when i first started vaping. i bought this flavor... i think it was called tutti fruitti. it only came in 30 ml so i figured why not... bad idea. i think i still have 27 ml left. and i used maybe less than 1ml before i emptied my tank.

like others have said.. sometimes you gotta try a bunch before you find one you like. maybe find sites that have sample packs and pick up a bunch.

I'd trade you that for the ghastly Honeydew I got my first day....lol It was bad at first and now it's unbearable. Strictly for if I run out of absolutely everything else, including sucking on old, burnt wicks.....lol

And yes, try LOTS and LOTS of different liquids. When you find the RIGHT equipment and NicLiquid, you'll then 'get' what vaping Nirvana means.

I did the same on the exact same devise with the ry4 i also bought.I then
Washed all the iclear 16s put my usual juice in
It was great. So tried the ry4 in my old clearamiser
Same chemical discusting burn the throat taste
I put it down to the new juice needs steeping
Not tried it again yet. but don't give up on it 2
Weeks time it will probably be tasty

Also, don't worry. My juice that came with my gear was a dud too, but I saw the promise in the experience as a whole. Thankfully, some decent enough juice arrived in the mail the next day
From what I've seen, tobacco vapes might be trickier, but you won't necessarily have too much problem finding flavors you love. I love too many!

I started vaping a month ago, after smoking 3 to 4 oz of tobacco a week, I bought a pack of 5 tobacco testers and have settled for RY6.
I thought maybe a fruit flavor might make a change and tried fruit punch and strawberry, there's something not quite right taking a long draw and tasting fruit and not tobacco.
I did find that the delivery system makes a big difference, I started with cartomizers and have tried various clearomizer sand have settled on a MT3 at the moment, I've been of the stinkies since I started vamping so stick with it good luck

liquids made using an extraction process contain alcohol which must be evaporated off. try squeezing the air out of the bottle many times daily for several days.

I had a similar experience to you. I discovered however, for me the problem was the iclear. The hits that I get from it are way too strong and it makes all of my liquid taste like burnt chemicals. At first I thought it was the juice I was using, but after about 10 different juices, I realized that it was the tank. I tried a carto-tank instead and that was it!! All the bad burnt taste was gone!! I was relieved to know that I didn't buy a ton of horrible juices from several different vendors. Try switching out your iclear with something else and see if that doesn't help.

SO True! I've discovered the same thing with ALL my various vapors, iclears, cartomizers etc. The same flavor tastes different or much better when I switch things around. ALSO funny is that I found by putting a whistle type tip on a round tip, I not only get a better taste but a better TH. And just sometimes, I might have a mint along with my vaping and again it seems to taste better when my tongue feels all yucky. It's what I do to get me by another day without having an analog. So worth it.

My I clear 16 on ITaste vv works well. Beware of it getting junked up. I had to wash it up and with the little white seal off the top I pulsed it until the coil got red and burned clean. It was good then.

Now I mostly vape on a cheap mod with an HHS.357 atomizer. What great taste! I can switch favors a lot with it. I dont worry about carry over of flavor. Just switch flavors and after the second drip refil the old flavor is gone. The first one after switching can have interesting effects.

I like melon, fruit, nana bread, and RY4 in a tobacco flavor.

My first vape was a bit weird as well - for about 15 minutes. But then it felt heavenly. And so far Ive only tried 2 basic flavors - so Im thinking that it just gets better with time!

All of the NET liquids I've tried--including a couple of disastrous DYI attempts--were all horrible. I still have a couple of bottles of some of the storebought NET stuff and they're still blech weeks after purchase. There may be some good to great ones out there but they eluded me and I quit chasing them.

Welcome melted! Nicotine alone tastes a bit peppery to me--other than that, it has no taste. I often vape unflavored because I prefer it to many poorly flavored juices.

Trial and error. Order small samples, 3 ml or 5 ml tops. There's nothing more depressing than a 30 ml bottle of unvapeable ejuice.

I took my first vape draw in the shop where I got my first ego set. It was a tobacco flavor at 24mg nic and it choke me with every draw, I would cough. I told the guy helping and laughing at me this was not for me. So he let me try a Dragon Tears flavor with 16mg nic and I loved it. Have not vaped tobacco flavor at all in my ego stuff.
I have also found when you use a new set up for the first time (new wick & coils) if you blow into the mouth piece and let the first couple hits go out the air hole the next draw taste much better no metallic or burnt taste.

If you want an exceptionally complex and tasty NET, I highly recommend H1N1, (The Virus), from Nicoticket.

I didn't read through all the pages, but one of the other mistakes I think you made was just taking the clearo right out of the box, filling, then vaping.

I recommend washing everything thoroughly with hot water, then allowing it to air-dry, before use.

Just an update for anyone interested

The juice did start to taste a lot better throughout the next 3 days. I'm putting it down to a combination of:

A) not soaking new equipment prior to use
B) steeping in progress
C) getting used to vaping vs. thick pungant smoke???

I've had 10 x 10ml tasters from Joose Juice arrive since then and am currently enjoying the apple flavour. Although definitely not "vaping nirvana", it's pretty damn good. I didn't even wash out the clearomizer between fills so this is a bit of a weird hybrid flavour.

I think i'm en route, thanks to all for the helpful advice!

I'm big on dessert flavors as well. If I had known I could smoke a loaf of banana nut bread, I'd have made the switch years ago

lol...so true. My very first flavored juice was banana nut bread. Ahhhhhmazing! I immediately thought 'why would I ever smoke a stinky again after this'.

Also 24mg is kind of harsh from personal experience. I was one pack a day lights smoker and I tried the 24mg almost died coughing.im on 6mg
