I've never been serious about quitting until now, cigs just make me feel gross lately. I ended up splurging almost $300 on supplies, a little more than i would spend on cigs in two weeks. Will be nice having extra money too.

Yes... Uh... Extra money... If you resist the urge to keep buying more vaping gear, you might actually accomplish that. After nearly 6 months, I have around $45 credit in the vaping bank. Better than nothing!

My ego twist should be delivered today, so after 16 years of smoking I plan on having my last cig today. I can't wait to start feeling healthy again.

Congrats and good luck. We're all here to help with any questions. Go Bruins! Go Sox!
- PS: one of my favorite activities is to vape while watching a BoSox game. No more power smoke during a commercial.

Thanks! It will be nice not having to go outside all the time for a smoke, especially in bad weather.

The first month is the hardest. Even though you will be getting the nicotine your body is still going to be detoxifying those 2000 other chemicals that was in cigs. With me I had a stuffy nose and aches and pains. This I heard is your body getting rid of the carbon monoxide thats been building up in your body. After that though you are home free.

And plus I find that even lowering my nic that the regular cravings are gone. Makes you think what else was in cigs that kept us hooked?

I just started with vaping couple of days ago, still having a few analogs, but not for too long I hope. Congrats, it will be great.

Don't worry too much about it at first. I went a good six weeks having a cig once in a while. But it kept slowing down until I just lost interest.

I think there's an adjustment period in there. Some folks luck out and hit the right "combination" of things their first time, some of us take longer. I say long as you're smoking less, it's a good thing.
