I want to share this with you all.
I replied to a poster elsewhere on the forum (no names) who said this to me.
Now I knew how to reply back my first response was " God finished His work on the sixth day. What work are you talking about"
His response was "Being a fishers of men." Matthew 4:19
Again I knew what to say but didn't know how to word it. So I did a quick ten minute study. This was my response back.

The verse says "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" in context it is about repent for sure though lets go below that verse " they left their nets and followed Him"
John 14:15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever — 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and He will be in you.…
Now it became clear to be a fishermen we must speak the truth.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
To be a fishermen one must allow the Spirit of truth to speak though us by proclaim the lord in our life and living it towards God that is the example we are to give.
You're taking credit for what is not in your power. What is in the believer’s power is to speak the truth through the Spirit of truth and that's all.
It is God who draws us, It is God who forgives us, it is God who gives us His Salvation, it is God who gives us a new heart and it is God who teachers the believer. There is nothing we do but submit to God and live our life as we choose to.
I have no power to keep anyone from climbing over any fence. Nor do I have the power to shove anyone over any fence.
