Hi guys, I've been vaping for about a year now and never really had any issues. During the last month or so my M401 batteries started dying for no reason. The symptoms on all of them are the same, when I charge them the light blinks, but when i try to drag on them, they do nothing. It seems that the mechanism who activates the battery stopped working. I don't know what it is, a bad batch from the factory (one of the original batts is still working) or my fault? I have 5 batteries just laying on my desk collecting dust, is there a trick to fix them? Thanks.

Try the Intellicig 401 Genie battery. Mine have been going strong for over four months.:)

No the batteries were bought in the last two months. One of the original batteries that came with the kit a year ago is still working.

I see.. Are all the bad ones from the same vendor? If so I'd definitely contact them. As you mention your problem sounds more like an internal switch issue. Have they been dropped?

Yeah maybe a bad charger. Try thoroughly cleaning the threads on the batteries and charger, or replacing the charger.

Another idea, have they all died using the same atomiser? It is possible for atomisers to have a short, which will kill any batteries you use with it. For example, if the small silicone washer that isolates the "post" in the middle of the atomiser from the rest of the body gets crushed, it will cause a short. This is a good illustration of this - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...t-users-please-read-thank-you.html#post420507

I had some go weird on me too - auto batts for the 402. I took some kleenex, wrapped a corner really tight and placed it into the inner hole on the threaded end as well as the "breather" hole on the outside of the threads.
Carefully remove the LED cap and blow through that side of the batt - you will feel like your not doing anything but you are.
If all else fails, get some battery/electrical contact cleaner and spray some in.

I had three batts that came back after this.

I also contacted Shawn at Litcig as one was within warranty (14 days). which he replaced.

He also reminded me that they are made overseas and in mass quantity. It would make one believe that with the growing popularity of the E-cig, that maybe quality control is slipping a bit.
