Five Pawns E-Juice

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone here has tried the juice from this place? Particularly Queenside or Gambit (they look interesting to me). I've pretty much been ordering from MBV for the last year mostly and was looking for maybe a "higher end" juice to grab 1 or 2 30ml bottles from once every few months. So does anyone have any experience with any of their flavors or recommendations on any?

I have sampled all of their juices (except the limited editions) at my local vape shop. I can't specifically recall queenside or gambit, but I did purchase Castle Long, Grandmaster, and Lucena. I found the flavor descriptions to be pretty darn accurate and the juice to be very delicious.

So far my favorite has been Grandmaster. It's a pretty complex flavor, but even if you don't get every subtle note right away it's amazing stuff.

Hi Nomad and welcome aboard!

I have tried Castle Long and Gambit. Castle Long is very good, but not for me. It's toasted coconut, and I was looking for more of a fresh coconut. Just personal preference - it really is a VERY good juice.

Gambit is very nice and will be in my rotation for the time being.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Thanks for the replies guys, they sound like the extra quality I'm looking for in an enhanced vape experience so far. Don't get me wrong MBV is great for what it is, but I simply can't afford/justify the "nicer" juices on a monthly basis, so I'm scared that once I pick some of this up it will ruin me for what I'm used to getting lol.

Hi, Nomad! I've tried all of 5 Pawns juices. They are pretty complex; different flavors predominate depending on build, heat, and age of the juice. Gambit is meant to be reminiscent of apple pie, and it is, mostly. I find the apple recedes a bit, and the "crust" is a bit forward. It's a warm apple (versus a tart apple), if that makes sense. To me, their cocktail juices (Lucinda, Fifth Rank, Castle Long, etc) are more interesting, and not something you're likely to find elsewhere. You might want to get a sample set and try several. Hope you find one you like!

Thanks for the info Littlebird! Gambit actually sounds great to me, I was actually hoping the crust might come through a bit more than the apple. Do you get much of the french vanilla ice cream in the description as well? Also, I know taste is subjective but did you find Queenside to be pretty accurate in the description, as it sounds like another one I might enjoy. Anything with ANY mint in it at all I usually stay away from, I just can't stand vaping mint for more than 4-5 vapes.

If I end up enjoying my first 1-2 bottles enough, looking through the cocktail juice descriptions, they all sound very interesting and something I'd def. like to try out sooner or later. Again, thanks for the information, I appreciate it :).

Just my personal opinion, Five Pawns is good, but I can't justify the price. Maybe if it was $22/30ml like your average premium, but not at the price it sells at.

I definitely agree for the most part, almost $1 a mil is pretty crazy, but for me it's just something I'm looking to get every once in awhile, not for say, an all day every day vape every month :).

Five Pawns is ok, kind of overrated IMHO.
They're juices are definitely quality and complex.
I purchased the sampler packs for their regular line, and also their Mixology line.
Some were pretty ok at best, but nothing that really stood out or made me order their juices; just wasn't for me.
I would suggest getting their standard sampler back, and seeing for yourself.

Welcome Nomad :)

I've taste-tested some of the 5P juices. I did buy a bottle of Castle Long - I like the "adult beverage" nuance of it. Since then, I've started DIYing my juices, and have found some respectable clone recipes. I'm just cheap and don't like paying that much for flavors :) It was certainly a treat though....

I liked Gambit and Bowden's Mate. I've found a Queenside recipe I want to whip up.... They have some amazing flavor profiles. I'll never make mine as well as they can, but it's fun to try

Ha, yeah I don't really spend more than 6-12 bucks max for 30 mil from MBV/G.W.A.R flavors usually. This would be more like an occasional treat kind of deal. Buying even ONE bottle of this stuff a month for me would be crazy to me, buuuut every once and awhile it couldn't hurt. I prefer to spend most of my vape budget on a nice atty though more than a steady diet of "premium" juices :).

Thanks again for all the info guys, much appreciated! I'm probably going to end up getting a Gambit and/or a Castle Long or Queenside going off of the descriptions and the generally positive feedback on the overall quality of the juices as a whole, and pick up more MONTHS down the line if I enjoy it enough .
