Fixing a stuck Vamo button

My Vamo has dropped a dozen times on accident. Table bumps, a slip here and there you know the usual. Well this last time it would seem the button has stuck. No more click. The down side is that the slightest touch drops the volt/wattage and I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and/or found a repair possibility. Any help is appreciated. Its a beast of a mod and has handled anything and everything like a champ. It still works perfectly, this is more of an inconvenience.

Your best bet is to take it apart and put it back together...I would assume that the circuit board is not longer seated correctly.

I tried, no luck. He made it seem so easy, I can't get the head off. time to hit the gym. But thanks for the heads up. A few scratches around the head but i may know someone who can help me get it. I appreciate the help and video tutorial.

try wrapping a bunch of tape around the top first. That way you can get a good grasp of the top. about all I can think of.

FWIW I just had to do this, and my top was stuck too. I ended up heating the top with a mini torch to get it loose, it was really on there. I had already scratched it a bit (through several layers of masking tape) from working it in my vise with some vise grip pliers. After applying heat it popped off no problem.

Once I got it apart, I discovered that my mini switch was smashed from a fall, so it's for the parts pile now.

There are replacement boards for the Vamo, hopefully some vendors will start carrying them soon.
