Ok,

I discovered something today,

I dont know if it is helpful to anyone or not
but i will post it anyway ------

I put an old - not working atty on my Fully charged RiVa batty

the batty flashed, continuously, like it was not charged.........

I thought Oh nooooooooo,
I blew the batty,

but, no,
I took off the bad atty, and put on a known good one,
and it fired up as good as gold, and no flashing batty........

I dont know if that is helpful to anyone,

but it could be one explanation if your charged batty starts flashing,

try another atty----- :)

Hi Di,
I have one RIVa battery that has been flashing for one second every minute since I received it. I conditioned all my RIVa batts following instructions from the EM website. It flashed even when not hooked to anything at all. Just sitting on it's flat nose, all by itself. Blink for one second, off for a minute, blink for another second, off for another minute. Beats me. But, I decided it couldn't be taking very much juice to light the L.E.D. button. So, I haven't noticed a shorter run time than any of the other RIVa batts. So, told Rick I'd just keep it. I think it's sort of unique having it. And I can't loose it in the dark. LOL.

Cheers,
Steve J

Yes,

this is a strange one for sure,

but as you say-- it is not affecting the longevity of its performance,

so really it is a little novelty item for you.

It is interesting to hear of the little quirky things from time to time.

I am scared of the dark, so this would be a fun night light -- hahaha

I noticed this too. Pretty sure it's the protection circuit. Your old atty must have a short in it. The light also flashes when you short it with a voltage meter test lead.

The RiVa is awesome. Now all it needs is a USB charging/passthru port. <hint hint hint>

I was thrilled to find that despite the shorted atty,
the battery survived with no problem. Yippeeeee
and it is working just fine for 2 weeks since I did that ooooops !!
and still going strong -- I am getting an average of 10 -12 hours vaping with it -- so I am just thrilled -----

Yes, it is a very nice ecig--

and yes - all it needs is a passthru-

and a bigger mah battery-- 1300mah --

both of these are coming ---- :)

I "misplaced" one of my Rivas! It's been gone since yesterday. I've looked everywhere. Now I'm gonna have to move furniture in case it rolled under something. <sigh> I'm so sad I don't even wanna wiggle my PT.

Break the furniture if needed blue.:D You must find it. We will be holding thrums for you. Maybe you must wiggle your PT, and it will come out from where it is.;)
