Will they work OK in an modified Reo Grand?

Found a great deal...Sony 18650 30A Continuous Discharge Battery

Modified how?

I use a mixture of flat and button tops in my stock grand. No issues...even though I know it isn't suggested.

I meant by modifying the firing pin a bit to make connection.

Some peeps have modified the pin to work on flat tops. With the new sub-ohm kit, flat tops will be fine, according to the modmaster:

They work fine in a unmodified Grand. I've been using them for months. They hit hard all day long!

You can get the same battery at KP. (Good battery)

I noalox the top of the battery and haven't had any problems.

Still anxious for that upgrade kit though.

PS. No need to mess with the firing pin unless you're one of the folks that just has to tinker. (I resemble that remark)

What CrP said, I didn't have to modify my grande at all to use my flat top pany's, but made a firing pin anyway cause I like to see how things work. I ended up going back to stock pin so I could use my button tops interchangeably With my modified pin, I couldn't use my buttontops(would always make contact)..
I now have those Sony's just waiting for the new contacts

I've used the FT EH 18650's before......it is more prone to sparking but nonetheless it works just fine
