Flat top spacer

Is there anything i can use as a spacer for the IMR 18650's on a GGTS? I dont want to wait 3 days for one to come in the mail lol... Is there anything that might be laying around my house that will work?

I am using a imr 18650 aw and its working great, what brand battery? I cant imagine a situation where that floating pin would not make good contact even with a flat top, but those little magnets work great but I suppose that is what you are waiting for in the mail huh?

edit; I think I can imagine it now, so the postive side of the flat top has a smaller diameter than the bottom of the positive contact post on the ggts? is that correct?

If you can find a nail that has a head that is close to the same size in diameter as the diameter of the positive connection you could use that if you were careful when tightening the ggts down but you would need a small metal hacksaw and a clamp to remove the head of the nail, or maybe a small washer, nut or even a small pc of spring that is similar in diameter.

tpa, the head of the center pole of GGTS is big so its able to touch the positive pole of any thin or fat battery. Also telescope allows all lengths of batteries to go inside without the need of any spacer. I dont understand why you need a spacer

It has to make contact w/the center pole. It's huge. I know I had a hard time feeling when contact was made just using the spring. Went to the fuse set up and no problem now.

Are you using flat top batteries Tpa?
I have flat top IMR's and they all make contact.
Have you tried turning the batteries upside down? The negative end of the battery may be able to make contact with the pin, and on a purely mechanical mod like the GG it doesn't matter which way you insert the battery.
