At times I get to where I cant taste anything (we call it vapor tongue) or it just taste really odd. I just vape un flavored for a while.
I know it's not vapors tongue had that before. I can taste my juices just don't care for them, any of them at the moment. :( Maybe it's just a phase because I was getting so frustrated with my tobacco flavors today.

I have not experienced this except when I had a cold or flu coming on. Took 4-5 days to start tasting juice again. I vaped plain VG off and on until it passed.
You might be coming down with something.
I can taste my juice, just nothing appealing to me flavor wise. I'm chalking it up to being a bad juice day.

At about 2-3 months after I started vaping, nothing tasted the same anymore...vaping, eating, drinking. You see I had been a 40 year very heavy smoker and my senses (taste and smell) were trashed. As I began to taste and smell again, all of my original tobacco juices started tasting awful. It was my first vaping crisis and took me several weeks and many samples to find juices I could at least tolerate. I finally ended up using unflavored liquid.

On a side note, the world does not smell the way I remember it from the late 1960's. I want to know who screwed it up!

Anyone go through this? I don't know but today I have total flavor burnout. Nothing tastes good but the most flavorless ejuice I have. Vendor brands are just blahhh to me. Hope things change when I DIY.

This used to happen to me Occasionally.

But since I moved to Hint of Flavor (putting a Few Drops of Flavored e-Liquid into a Tank of Unflavored) and Unflavored, I haven't had it Since.

I don't do Flavorless, probably because I Vape 50/50 and don't care for PG's harshness. Can't vape higher VG as these OLD lungs are well worn.
However, like others, I enjoy lightly flavored mixes.
I was completely Shocked to find so many e-liquids are pushing 30-50% Flavoring.
I've taken 20% mixes down to 10% or less and gotten excellent results. Some of my DIY are only 6% and flavor is perfect - For me :)

You might try using juices from one extreme to another to get your taste buds kickstarted again. I usually use my diy custard but have to take a few hits of fruity (Lost Art Mystery) once in a while to remind my mouth what it's supposed to taste like. Lemonade type juices work well to invigorate your taste as well. Good luck.

I got vape tongue a few times, but I find rotating several profiles (for me: creme, liquor, and desserts) and I keep coffees and stuff I liked but didn't consider an ADV for work. Haven't had it since.

over the past year my taste have changed and what I liked when I first started vaping does not taste good anymore. as your taste buds heal from smoking you may find you like different flavors and a milder mix. I don't like the peppery taste of unflavored juice but find 1or 2% flavoring works great for me now. when I first started vaping before I started DIY I would order extra flavor shots and could barely taste the flavors. your taste buds need time to heal and during that time your taste will probably change.it helps to have a variety of flavors available to try.I have an ADV but have other tanks with different flavors to give me a little variety thru the day. good luck

I DIY all of my juices and none are mixed higher than 8%. Most are 4-6%. For me I've found that less is more. The flavor may not be as "strong", but it tastes better at the lower amounts.
