I know that so much about vaping is subjective, and it seems everyone has an opinion about every aspect, but I'm trying to find hard, verifiable science behind vapor production. And if that doesn't exist, I'm willing to lean heavily on veteran members to point me in the right direction.
Firstly about me, I'm 1 month analog free as of this past week. I was able to quit by replacing my habit/addiction with a much more enjoyable habit/hobby, vaping. I started with a very basic stick style device on loan from a friend, not even 510 threads. I'm not even sure what it was to be honest other than I know it was a VV SMOK device and was pen style. Tank was some sort of early kanger tank. I quickly jumped into vaping headfirst and spent my analog budget for the week on a Subox Mini starter kit. I'm now sitting with the Subox mod, 2 STM's, and a Crown tank. I started with a MTL inhale on the device that was loaned to me, but went quickly to STL with the Subox kit. I feel like I prefer the STL, but am willing to adjust as needed.
I want more flavor. What can I do to get there? I thought the crown would amaze me, but it really hasn't done much but increase my juice budget. This could be due to the 50W limitation on the Subox but with the 0.5ohm coil I thought I would be fine. I run the 0.5 OCC's and 0.5 builds on the RBA just fine in the 20-30 range...
There are about a million options with rebuilding the RBA section on the STM's and frankly it's a bit overwhelming. Micro? Macro? Clapton? Twisted? Does the coil style even really matter? (we're heating the wick to produce vapor) Speaking of wicks, Cotton? Rayon? Hemp? Scottish Roll? Pancake?
I just want a reproducible, consistent TASTY vape experience without spending $100 a week in liquid costs.
Please help!!!
