Flavor concentrates are a rip off in Canada!

Well I finally bit the bullet after not being able to find a US company that would ship to Canada. I checked most of the ones mentioned in the stickies in this subforum and none of them would calculate shipping to Canada.

I ended up sucking it up and putting an order in with canvape.com. I put together an assorted order of seven 10ml bottles of flavoring mixed between TPA flavors and LorAnnes. Both brands were 4.50 per 10ml bottles which was much higher than the US sites but I figured it wasn't all that bad. Then I went to check out and the shipping for seven of these tiny bottles came to $10! The shipping for this package would only cost a few bucks so they are marking up the shipping like crazy too. All said and done my order of seven bottles came to $45 including tax and shipping which is almost $6.50 per 10ml bottle!

Does anyone know of some online retailers that offer better pricing for Canada?

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Yeah, I hate paying ripoff rates on shipping. So I could imagine that nic might be blocked, but why are flavors blocked? Is the government opposed to Canadian cooking? Or is the NSA is blocking because they don't have enough cameras in place yet?

Did you try TFA themselves, from what I just read they ship worldwide. I don't live in Canada so I don't know what shipping costs would be though Shipping Information

Inawera ships to Canada, and they cost considerably less for a 10 ml bottle. The waiting might kill you though. Good luck.

Thanks, i'm not sure why I didn't think of ordering directly from the companies website. I just checked TPA's website and its 3.80 for a 15ml bottle and shipping is only 6.80. I should be able to handle the long wait time now that I already have a few flavors on the way.

Just wanted to say Canvape does not dictate or mark up the price of shipping that's done by CP.

Of course I have to add that, cigarettes are way more expensive so a few bucks don't bother me but I do understand those on a budget.

Price are comparable between the two companies being mentioned. The shipping cost is something that us Canadian have to live with, the mighty CP. If you buy from the US or international sites, you will be surprise about the high price of international shipping cost plus custom and brokerage (if any), and your risk of the weak Canadian Dollar in terms of foreign exchange.

The only thing that is wrong in here is CP did not provide a lower domestic shipping cost like USPS and postal service of other countries.

I bought my ecig, some ejuice and a few tops from a different local supplier that is a bit further away and the shipping only cost 6.80 so I dont think $10 is just the standard CP price. For 6.80 you get next day shipping, unfortunately this supplier doesn't sell flavoring.

Its not just the shipping, $4.50 for a 10ml bottle of flavoring typically used for baking is a little ridiculous as well. Who knows though, if I end up having to pay duties when I order directly from the manufacturer in the US it might end up costing just as much.

FlavorFog of Fort McMurray sells flavors at pretty good prices, comparable to direct from Cappella's for example. $7/30ml or $19/140ml

+1 For flavourfog.com in Canada. They sell 3ml,5ml,10ml,30ml and 140ml sizes or a good price. I get all of my flavours from them except my TPA/TFA ones which I order from shop.perfumersapprentice.com
Flavourfog also has labware, bottles, syringes and non nic pg or vg in sizes up to 1 gallon for $40. Any orders over $100 have free shipping.
