I'm getting ready to make a big purchase of DIY supplies and was doing some shopping around.

My question is this: Have any of you noticed a difference in concentrations when ordering from a third party Vendor versus straight from the source?

Flavor Apprentice site is selling 4ml for $1.40 but yet 1Stop DIY is selling the same stuff at 6ml for $1.50. Or How ecigexpress can sell 30ml of RY4 for 9.99

I am wondering if perhaps some third party vendors are getting the good stuff and "cutting" it down. The Reason I am asking is that I don't want to purchase what appears to a good deal $/ml only to find that I need more of the stuff and thus making it not such a good deal.

Thanx in advance for the help

Haven't a clue how ecigexpress can sell for what they do, but I've never had an issue with the few flavors I've purchased there.

For the other, if you go direct with TFA you will get a 4ml glass bottle with a nice cap. In fact they are all glass until you go to the 4oz size. The reseller is buying in bulk and putting it in cheaper bottles. So the pricing is pretty close either way. What is the bottle worth to you? That's the only real question.

I've had issues with other resellers, but neither of the 2 you mention.

One Stop charges $6 for shipping, so that helps them to make up for the lower prices somewhat. I'm not sure if the $6 is the same for all orders; my one order there was for $11 plus $6 shipping less $1.11 discount using coupon code of ECF. I ended up cancelling that order (which had to paid through Amazon and not directly on One Stop's web site).

It's more cost effective to go with ecigexpress, who has lower shipping fees, larger mL bottles, much more selection of flavorings, and they ship from Washington. Takes 3 to 4 business days to receive in Michigan. Coupon code is VPZECX for 10% off some items and SIG-FL for 20% off Signature Flavors. Ecigexpress claims they do not dilute any of their flavorings. I've ordered several times from ecigexpress and have been happy so far.

ecigexpress sells TFA stuff for 6.83 ml/$ (that is when they had 20% off for Christmas). Do they have a coupon code now?

Buying 4oz sizes direct from TFA the prices vary but you get them for 7.5 to 9.2 ml/$. Some flavors TFA sells larger and bulk prices are not listed on the web, so their margin could be bigger.

Price-wise, OSDIYS is really only good for Flavour Art samples, and they didn't have a great selection last time I was there. I did buy from them also because of some of their DIY goods, but a pipette pump and things are one-time buys. Their service was problem-free and it shipped fine. $6 is pretty standard shipping, and trust me a lot of places are worse, yet I probably won't have much reason to order from them in the future. I believe they've stated that they won't stock larger sizes, so other places are just better to shop at.

They are better for TFA samples too, but I like the glass bottles or will just buy a larger amount. I don't think you have to worry about these places diluting flavors at all. TFA does change formulations, so what you get from a 3rd party could be an older, less improved version, since they are just buying bulk and sitting on it until they run out. Maybe OSDIYS refreshes when a formula changes, but I kinda doubt it.
