Flavor Consistency

I don't want this post taken the wrong way, but I am having a little trouble with getting flavor consistency when I order... I'll pick my main (grape) and give a little run down...

With my first order I tried a few flavors and decided the prefilled grape carts where my fav. So I ordered some 24mg grape juice.

Pretty good taste, liquid was VERY purple, killed 2 atomizers using 10ml of it. Not saying it was the cause, but I did pull one apart and it was very carbon encrusted.

Next up, grape 36mg with 33% more flavor. A most amazing juice, perfect taste, and the liquid itself was much clearer.. just a slight pinkish hue. Best I ever had.

Next order the 36mg was out, so ordered 24 mg double flavor thinking it would be close enough. Hardly any flavor at all, and a burnt chemical taste if used in a 401. Liquid was yellowish.

Finally, new order of 36mg 33% arrived this weekend. It's back to being dark purple again, and the flavor is more back to the chemical type taste.

So why are all of these so different? Are different flavor agents in use? Is the recipe being tweaked constantly? I want a large supply of the one that knocked my socks off.. how do I get that again?

any input on why every bottle has such different traits? I understand different nic content might change the flavor a little bit.. but the change is quite noticable and color change alone is kind of concerning. TIA for any clarification...

Good to know you folks are taking care of customer concerns.

I've actually been thinking of trying a few of the 33% extra flavor juice, but have a question. MFS mixes their own, correct? Is your juice PG or VG based? Or a combination?

Hey Ez,

Yes, Chris custom mixes. It is a PG base. I think he can do a PG/VG (no nic) mix for you, so long as he has the VG (no nic) in stock.

Hey all.. I am sorry for not following up on this thread in a timely manner.. been a heck of a week over here.

First let me say that yes, I was responded to right away and I did talk to Chris about the issues. He sent me some replacement juice mixed in different consistencies to try and work it out.

He was very honest and upfront about the mixing, and how things may have been different in the past. He also replaced some other juice I had a real problem with (in that case, strawberry). I suppose bad batches happen, and that's just the way it goes sometimes. I have no issues with that as I've always been quickly taken care of when there is a complaint.

That said - we did not find the 'holy grail' of grape flavor I was looking for. This is completely my opinion, but I believe that the loranns flavoring for grape is simply not a good choice for our e-liquid. Chris did say he would have another option for me, so we'll try that soon. As far as I know, any grape flavored juice with loranns would be purple in color - the stuff I loved was not. That's not to say the current stuff isn't good, in fact one of the new mixes is being enjoyed in my m201 right now, but I hope we find an alternative. Then again who knows, maybe I'm the only one nuts for a good grape flavor.

I also want to add that the strawberry he sent me is wonderful, and he also sent me a cheesecake sample that I've seen raved out on here so much... I can see why... delicious.

At this point I have no complaints, and as usual the customer service was far and above what it had to be.

I guess in reality when it comes to custom juice there will be some bumps in the road, but when those issues are taken care of so quickly and professionally I am a happy camper.

One last quick reply, I received Saturday the grape I was looking for... thanks Chris! Just as yummy as I remember. Man the customer service blows me away time and time again. I think we can consider this issue solved with a happy ending.
