Flavor of a juice sticking wont leave.

So this has never happened to me before, But..
Decided I would try a Black licorice flavor of juice. It was alright... not an all day vape for me, Actually a little strange on the taste and made me cough a little.

But anyways. Went to change my flavor to a nice mango. To my disappointment.... the Licorice flavor is still there and is overpowering it. later I tried washing the rda, I Even put it in a pot of boiling water.... yet... everytime i pull it out and vape on it .... Licorice.....


How can I purge my rda of this flavor.....

Soak it in vodka overnight. Always works for me when I get a pungent juice

Hasn't yet happened to me either, but if it did, I'd vape unflavored until the taste went away. Since you can taste it, you know it's being consumed, and it must be finite after all....

Vodka is the best fix. That's happen to me a few times, last time home brew Captain Crunch... Ewwww. Once I discover a flavor sticks around, that's it for me. I toss it never to use again, very upset! Use vodka, toss the licorice!

You can also use inexpensive $store denture cleaning tablets. Soak, rinse well. Just my 3¢(inflation) and what I have done successfully. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

any kind of alcohol will work.. Clear ones are just cleaner.

Anise is a PITA to get rid of...it's like that mother-in-law who just found out that you're skilled in construction, painting, etc.

Try soaking your atomizer in rum, vodka, or whiskey. A buddy of mine was a pipe smoker. He said that when he used to restore old pipe stems, he would remove the stem, and let it sit in a bath of vodka for a few hours.

I keep a tank exclusively for anise flavors, and nothing but. I have found it impossible to get rid of that flavor entirely, even with a long vodka soak.

I use rubbing alcohol in my clearo's and RDA. Works great just rinse really well with warm water, as far as the coils go I would replace them.
