Flavor on the rm2

My madrina by suicide bunny flavor seems to lack a little flavor going up against my tube mod when I insert the cotton into my coil on the reo I would pull and the cotton would get stuck and not go any further would that maybe be the problem? Cuz the cotton in the wick is too thick?

Sounds like you already know the problem Less is more when it comes to the cotton wicks. I make sure it slides back and forth easily and not much laying on the ceramic bowl, just enough to wick the juice.

Thanks Ima try it see what happens lol I always seem to put too much and when it slides back and forth it feels like I put too little... any other rule of thumb besides the cotton moving back and forth freely

For more/better flavor put your coil closer to the RM2 floor. Up for more TH and down for more flavor.

A pic of your set-up can give us a better understanding of any concerns.

Another thing... I have found I like my wick not loose but not tight kinda in between... Too tight and your wick cotton may not be totally saturated, too loose not enough cotton and I can toast the wick if I don't sqonk enough. It's a little trial and error till you find your sweet spot imo.

For a while now I've been putting my coil in a bed of cotton rather than feeding the cotton through the coil. For me this improved flavor immensely. Another thing I've been doing more recently is positioning the coil so that it's center part is facing the air hole as described here:

So far this has given me the best flavor thus far. Maintenance is a breeze too. I like thick, gunky juices so I dry burn and change wicks pretty frequently.

Use longer legs. Get the coil real close to the airhole on the cap. Yours is too far, then when it's close to the airhole you can fine tune up and down

So just move the coil farther away from the posts and up and down means the whole coil?

if you move the whole coil away from the posts and close to the airhole you'll get much better flavor and vape, coil should be pretty much centered on the hole, the "up and down" refers to just simply moving the whole coil either up slightly so you are drawing more from the bottom of the coil for more throat hit, or down slightly from center so you are drawing more from the top of the coil for more flavor and less throat hit, but this really only applies once you get the coil pretty close to the airhole to begin with. the tilt doesn't really make much difference I think he tilts is for wicking reasons more than anything else. also if it's tilted then a very slight turn of the atty cap can give the same results as raising or lowering the coil depending on exactly what part of the coil the airhole is lined up to, so a coil tilted slightly towards this: / would give more throat hit as the air hole goes towards the right side of the coil, but again I think it's more about wicking and keeping the squonk hole clear yet still having part of the coil low. play with it yourself but the closer the better as long as you don't let the coil actually touch the cap
