Flavor Optimization?

Are some e-liquid flavors fully realized at higher voltage(wattage) than others?

I ask this because I am a novice vaper. I have been vaping about 3 weeks now. I have picked up a lot of fruit cocktail style juices, since I favor the fruit flavored juices so far. However, I do seem to prefer my basic fruit/menthol juices that I initially purchased at Mr. E's(I was a menthol analog cigarette smoker.) I bought/won a lot of fruit mixture juices from the VapExpo in Ann Arbor last weekend.

I like them a lot, but am not noticing a whole lot of a difference between many of them. I don't know if this is due to the unknown VG/PG ratios or the fact that I have been getting similar flavor profile blends. I am just curious if my current Halo Triton starter kit system isn't producing the ideal wattage/voltage for these juices to really shine...

Do you have any eliquids that are a completely different flavor which you can vape for a while? I find that if I vape similar flavors a lot my tongue starts to become numb to those flavors; if I switch it up to something else for a while and go back to my favorite fruity juice it tastes as good as the first time I vaped it.

Also, If it's only your third week not smoking then your taste buds haven't healed completely yet. That could be a factor as well.

My world in vaping expanded beyond my imagination with my first variable voltage device. My first experience was using my favorite flavor in one of my tanks in a mechanical mod (advanced e-cig using replaceable batteries) that was "Kicked" to allow increased voltage owned by an e-cig vendor. I was able to taste minor notes in the background of the main flavor which really enhanced my vaping experience. I ended up soon getting my first Provari, a high end variable voltage mod. I can say in all truthfulness that using a variable voltage device can enhance many e-juice flavors.

You shared that most of your current flavor lineup has been fruit flavors. Everyone is different, but my experience has been that the fruit flavors are best at a lower voltage range like you are currently using. Higher voltage can make the more fragile fruit flavors taste burnt - again in my experience.

However, I also really like the coffee flavors. These flavors are enhanced with a little more heat. I like these in the 4.0 - 4.5 voltage range. I have a red hot cinnamon flavor that I like near the 5 volt range. Variable voltage is all about finding the "sweet spot" for your flavors using different voltages to enhance each flavor. Until you have found some flavors outside of the fruit niche, I'd stick with the setup that you currently have. But once you have experimented with other flavor niches, consider trying an inexpensive eGo Spinner or Twist variable voltage battery to see if your flavors are enhanced with different voltages.

I don't know that I agree with that completely, although I have ultimate respect for Baditude's expertise in general. I found that many of my fruit flavors suddenly developed a depth of flavor and complexity that they had not had before when I stuck my same T3 I'd been using on a Twist or Spinner. Personally, I think it is 100% worth picking up an inexpensive VV device. An added benefit was that I could dial down some of the flavors that had a tendency to taste burnt.

Halo twisted Java is a good menthol coffee liquid, I'm not really into fruit flavors but love pina colada.
