flavor percentage

When making your own juice is it the norm to have your total flavors set for 20%.

I generally start at 10% then work up from there. I rarely go over 15% but I see recipes as high as 20-25%

I'm trying to come up with a Peppermint icecream flavor. I'm at 10% peppermint and 10% vanilla custard. I'm not getting enough peppermint so I was going to try my next 3ml sample at 15% peppermint and 5% vanilla custard. I was just expecting more flavor is all.

It also depends on your VG/PG ratio. My mixes are mainly VG and I mix at 24% flavor. Some flavor brands/flavors are not as strong as others so I guess what I am trying to say is there is no one % fits all. You might want to try using TFA vanilla bean icecream in that mixture, has a bigger flavor than vanilla custard.
