I used to have a cheepy evidence tank attached to my mvp 2 and flavor was awesome. I got an aspire nautilus for Christmas and now no matter what flavor everything tastes muted. Like its there but not. Yes I have tried changing the coils , I have tried changing flavors and I have tried it all different power levels.

Also telling me to get a dripper or get the "fancy-majig 2000" isn't a helpful answer.

With that said, is there any advice?

Are you priming your coils? By that I mean dripping a little bit of juice in the coil, installing it, filling the tank, and letting it sit for a few minutes before you vape? I assume you are since you haven't said anything about a burnt taste, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

You can also try turning the power up higher and/or using a smaller airflow hole on the ring.

Although, to be completely honest with you, I was never a huge fan of the nautilus. I know it's really popular here, but I MUCH preferred the kanger stuff (protanks, aerotanks) when I used clearomizers.

Are you using the BDC heads or the BVC heads? That makes a huge difference. I hated my Nautilus when I got it. But when the BVC coils were released with the new Nautilus mini everything changed. The BVC coils offer a much better vaping experience. The other thing I thought of is that you might try tightening up the draw on your air flow control. Too much air can mute the flavor IMO.

I took a look at and I don't have the vertical ones. On my next trip I will pick one up and give it a try. I do prime every time, and my airflow is wide open. Thanks for the suggestions

Huge difference! I didn't use my Naulitus much UNTIL they cam out with the newer BVC's.

If you are interested in purchasing these you are in luck. My Freedom Smokes is running their 40% discount on coils. Here is the "Deal & Steals" ad 40% off replacement coils, Offer good until 1/19/15. Max quanity 2 per product. (but you can order more than once).;)

There are two different type of BVC's. Here is the link on the MFS website to the coils that you will want: Nautilus BVC's.

Your battery is probably too small. I bought the ego twist which you can change the voltage but maximum amps was 10. I have the Itaste clk 1280 and max amps is 15 I believe. My wife on the other hand had the smaller ego batteries and their maximum amps was like 5. For the Nautilus you need like 10 to 12 amps. Problem is most batteries list their voltage or millamps per hour and it's amps are in the fine print. My wife's battery gave very little taste and very little smoke. The batteries we are using now in comparison you'd think we had RDAs. Lots more smoke and good flavor. My suggestion try a bigger battery on average are between 20 to 30 dollars.

I know you said u don't wanna be told to get an RDA and drip from ppl so I won't say it. That's for clouds. I can however tell u from first hand experience that the orchid V3 rebuildable tank is very nice in production and taste.not for cloud chasers but for casual vaping. 20 bucks for a clone so I couldn't pass on it. Now its my leaving the house go to. I save the plume veil clouds for home. ;)
