Flavor Recommendations?

Hello everyone,

I am wanting some flavor recommendations, preferably from V4L since that is where my only other cartridges are from. (Although I will take suggestions from other companies, it would be nice if they have a sampler option).

I tried both of their menthol samplers and did not really care for many of the flavors, although their regular menthol flavor was tasty and produced a lot of smoke. I have Grape, Green Tea and a tobacco house sampler on the way.

I usually smoke Marlboro menthols and American Spirits. I used to love smoking a pipe and would try many different flavors, my usual favorites had perrique in it. Never acquired a taste for latakia. I have also smoked and enjoyed a hookah, trying many of the different fruity tobacco flavors. I have many different varities of coffee (whole bean) and teas (loose leaf) that I keep around the house. I love different flavors and having options!

Since I am so very new to this I would just appreciate any advice anyone can give me on what flavors I should try next.

Also, does anyone think the juice tastes different than a prefilled cartridge (KR808)? I have my first bottle of juice coming in the mail.

1. I like WOWBacco (a cocoa tobacco, and WOWBoy is the same with a bit of mint). I enjoy WOW Vanilla which is a very sweet marshmallowy vanilla. I think their juice tastes pretty similar. Hard for me to tell since I was dropping my nicotine level and my bottles and prefills were never in sync. I would have 18mg prefills and then 11mg in a bottle, etc.

2. Blanks from V4L and put in juice from elsewhere like Backwoods Brew, FreedomSmokeUSA, etc

The V4L Wow Coffee, Peppermint, Black Licorice and Pancake are all delicious - but especially the coffee.

I wanted to try the WoWbacco, but they were out of stock of 18mg strength. I will have to make sure I try that one out.

I tried the peppermint and it was better than I expected.

How would you describe their coffee taste? I was interested in trying out some of those flavors, but was a little nervous to...

You should give Backwoods Brews a shot. If you like the the different tobacco flavors, they have great ones there like Applewood and Maple tobacco flavor among others, and are quite popular round here =)
I have never tried Tasty Vapor, but my next order will be from there. I hear tons of good things about them. I hear their flavors are intense, where some others you may just get a hint of flavor, they are supposed to be stronger. They also have samplers on their site as well.
We will see =)

Also if you tried some flavors you thought you may have liked but dont care too much for it, Let it steep and return to it after, It may be MUCH better.

Its interesting that you mention that. I thought I noticed a different taste with one flavor after doing this, but was not sure and thought I would test this idea out when I get some more flavors.

Wowbacco is good, other tobaccos I like are halo's tribeca, BWB's Casablanca, and applewood...another nice flavor, tho not tobacco is Geoffs blend from tasty vapor...kinda apple/cinnamon and very nice...
+1 on the mention of steeping....some juices need to age a bit, others are good right out of the mailbox....

Oh, and if you are using auto batteries, be really careful when refilling your cartos...you don't want any juice in the center tube....juice that gets to auto batts = bad...

A couple places you might want to try are Goodejuice (Chicago area) and Kickbassvapors (St.Louis area). They are fairly close to you (read fast shipping), and are highly respected juicers.

The other place you can try is on 34th street, Indy Vapors. I am sure he will let you browse around, and he will probably let you sniff his stock.

Well I actually placed an order the night before, checked my email that afternoon, noticed the sale and it was too late to change the first order. So I ended up placing another to take advantage of the sale. Wish I would have thought about the sampler pack to try wowbacco when I placed that order. Does V4L tend to run a lot of quick email sales like that?

I appreciate the warning about refilling with auto batteries. I would have hated to learn that the hard way...


I think I will have to look around and decide on another company to purchase some juice from. On that note I have a little bit of a different question...

Does anyone have a rough idea of the shelf life of juice?

I love the Mocha flavor if they carry it. It has a slightly sweet, mellow taste to it. It's the only juice I'll buy now since trying many others. Good luck.

I am just wondering if I am crazy here. I received a free 10ml bottle of Prime 15. First day it tastes like a light cigarette, second day it tastes AND smells like taco seasoning... Strange I know, just wondering if your prime 15 went through a "taco" stage.

Im not sure about V4L as my first order from them included the fruity variety pack, and I found almost all of them un vapable. I really enjoy the johnson creek original and french vanilla.

Are you talking about pre-filled carts?? If so, definitely switch over to blank carts and your juice of choice... much cheaper!
