Flavor Review Request – WOW Pineapple & WOW Cherry Cordial

Okay, so I just ordered all of the WOW sampler packs, except the menthol, and the two flavors that really impressed me were Pineapple & Cherry Cordial. Which is funny, because I never would have thought to order either of those two.

The Cherry Cordial really surprised me with how vapable chocolate can be in the right mix, adding a nice layer of complexity to the Cherry taste. I’m not a chocolate fan, but the chocolate really makes the Cherry interesting. I would have guessed I’d order Sour Cherry before trying this.

The Pineapple struck me as more of a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake and I really really liked it a lot. I don’t think I’d have ordered something called Pineapple Upside-Down Cake outside of a sampler, which this is not called, but I really liked this vape. The Pina Colada on the other hand struck me more like a pineapple soda or even a Squirt flavor.

Anyway, one carto can only give you so much of an impression, and the juices often come off different than a carto that has been prefilled for however long. So…what I’m looking for here are other peoples impressions of these two flavors. Particularly anyone who actually vapes these flavors because I don't trust anyone's one carto impression (not even my own).

Can I expect similar results from the a juice order?

This space reserved for a WOW Pineapple review. I have to fill a carto and refresh my memory. I generally vape Premium Pineapple.

EDIT: I just filled a blank Cool Cart with 0 mg WOW Pineapple. I vaped it on my PT. Your description as pineapple upside down cake is a very good one. I think that's what disappointed me when I got it, I was expecting it to be just like Premium except with more vapor, and it is not. WOW has a cooked, sweeter, smoother taste, where Premium has a fresh from the field edge. Both have their place.

Thanks for reminding me that WOW Pineapple is a pretty good vape, after all! Sorry I can't help with the Cherry Cordial.

Its gone! Forever? If Wow Pineapple didn't sell it isn't because it wasn't an awesome flavor, it was because people that wanted Pineapple didn't get what they were expecting.

If they had named it "Pineapple Upside-Down Cake", people would have raved about it "Holy cow! How did they make it taste just like Upside-Down Cake? This is amazing!"

Ah, the missed opportunities. I can only hope a Wow Pineapple Upside-Down Cake appears in the not-too-distant future. In the meantime, if anyone has low mg (zero to eight) Wow Pineapple they want to unload, PM me.

I would have guessed I’d order Sour Cherry before trying this.

I was not impressed with the Sour Cherry. It did have a nice sour quality that 'bit' the back of your throat as you'd expect something labeled "Sour" to do. The flavor, however, quickly changed after about 3 or 4 hits to taste extremely similar to Cherry Chap-Stick... a flavor I am not fond of.

Your review of the Cherry Cordial has me wondering if I should stop avoiding it, though. Does the cherry flavor come off as artificial like that awful Cherry Chap-Stick flavor?

You will not like the Cherry Cordial then. Its funny that you described the Sour Cherry as Cherry Chapstick because my own little description of Cherry Cordial that I put in my flavor notes was "Cherry-Chocolate Chapstick". Its the exact same cherry as the Sour Cherry, just made much more interesting with a solid cocoa flavor added.

I found the Sour Cherry to be simple and uninteresting by comparison, not bad - just a bit one-dimensional, I didn't really mind the chapstick aspect but did not find it "sour" enough. Anyway, in the Cherry Cordial the chapstick effect is still there for sure, so if that is a turn off maybe don't go there.

I ordered all of the Wow Sampler packs, which I highly recommend anyone do, but a single carto really gives you a limited number of puffs to judge the flavor, so anyone should take my eval with a grain of salt.

The Wow pineapple though...got some from Joyce... consistently delicious.

BTW, from the sampler, the standouts for me were Pineapple, Butterscotch, Melon and Cola.

Pineapple is detailed well enough above. What I really liked about the Butterscotch, Melon and Cola is that they were (unlike the Pineapple) absolutely spot on and taste just like their names. They taste exactly like what you would expect them to and do not have any unexpected under-taste (like the Cherry) and they aren't too weak on the flavor either (like Caramel, imo).

Waffle was really not too bad either - it might be in that group but I just felt that the butterscotch did a better job of hitting a similar enough sweet spot in my brain.

For the Wowbacco, Cowboy, and Wowboy, one carto just wasn't enough for me to say, I actually just ordered 30ml of all three because I just plain didn't have enough time with a single carto to really consider the differences.

Meh.. that's what I was afraid of and why I've avoided it since I tried the Sour Cherry... thanks for the advice. Continuing to avoid it.

Thats a cartomizer problem, not a juice problem. Unless you straight up got a bad batch. I find that I end up tossing out about 2 out of 5 cartomizers for not performing the way I want them to. Its very rare for me that a bad one breaks in so if I get an excessively tight draw when heated, a noticeable hot-spot on one part of the carto, or thin harsh vapor - then I just throw it out. I just still like cartomizers better than most other atties, and the price isn't bad, so I'm willing to put up with that hassle.

No they are 18mg cartos. I just added some melon juice to a pineapple carto and now i'm getting plenty of vapour and tastes kind of funky? Maybe a dry batch as the whole box is the same?

Oh, pre-filleds. One of the great mysteries of the universe. Pre-filled cartos are one of the greatest ideas in the world for flavor sampling - I wish everyone sold mixed samplers of pre-filled cartos for trying all their flavors. But a fresh fill on a blank premium carto is what keeps me coming back to V4L.

And as much as Melon & Pineapple fruit platter sounds like a match...fresh melon w/ pineapple upside down cake in the same bite? Not so much. That melon is good stuff though, eh? Impressive flavor.

Maybe reverse taryn-spin some juice out of one of those babies to fill another with just Wow pineapple.
