I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here, but since I got deeper into researching Ejuices, flavorings, and DIY, I've been struck with the ever so ominous Diacetyl. I apologize for bringing this up and I realize it may be quite an unpopular thing to do, but I really can't find many liable resources about which flavorings DO and DO NOT contain the chemical or its brethren.... anyone know of a good thread or page with this info?

Anyway,,,
The main company I have been looking at is Lorann, and on their official website FAQ they have
"Do LorAnn Flavors contain diacetyl?"
"All LorAnn flavors are diacetyl free."

But I don't know how much I can trust that statement.... what do you guys think? any suggestions for what flavorings to use?
I am a non-smoker-vapor (which I know will also be unpopular) and I'm not going to let these kind of things into my body, as I took up vaping as a relatively-risk free hobby/social thing..... so yeahhh

Vaping because it's risk-free is an at best dubious, at worst suicidal concept. Most vapors take up the pursuit as it's an unknown versus a proven deadly (smoking) alternative. Diacetyl is just one compound in vapor that has been shown to possibly (not positively) lead to mortality, but there are thousands of other compounds that we just don't know. We know from thousands of years of eating apples that it's probably not a health detriment, but we have no long term studies of inhaling those compounds that give an apple its flavor.

I don't mean to be judgmental, but these are just the facts. If you want to minimize your risk of mortality and find that vaping is something you can do without, then by god, do so.

Sorry, just my 2 cents....back to buttery compounds.

Point taken, and a good one at that. Still, in 1980 when I started smoking, I knew the risks based on 100 years of evidence. We currently have little to no evidence on vaping. My only point is that the OP took up vaping as a "relatively risk-free hobby." We can't know that that's the case. In 100 years we'll know, but I suspect we'll all be dead.
