I've been reading up on what exactly goes into the making of e-liquids. I understand the difference between pg and vg and am still experimenting with what mixture would be best for me. What I haven't found is information about what actual ingredients are used for creating the flavors. Are they natural extracts or some chemical mixture? The reason I'm asking is some flavors actually make me nauseous even though I might enjoy that flavor in food products.

Usually it's just flavoring extracts that go into the juice. I started DIY a couple of weeks ago and get most of my flavoring from The Perfumer's Apprentice. I have one from LorAnn's and a couple of others from FlavourArt. LorAnn makes some organic flavoring, but I've heard that it isn't very good for e-juice because it's weak. Another juice supplier is Cappela's. I haven't tried them yet, but I've heard some of their flavors are wonderful. Some people also use PGA or vodka just give their juice more TH, but I've never done it.You could go to each of those flavoring manufacturers websites and probably get a better idea of what's in their flavorings.

Flavors can be created using natural and synthetic methods. The human body may react differently to both, even if they taste similar. Different ingredients are used to create these flavors. I have seen a huge list of flavors (natural and synthetic) on vigon's site. They are a supplier of flavors and fragrances . You can contact them for more information as well. Hope it helps.
