Flavorings separating

Hello guys(yay first post), so i've been DIYing for a while now but nothing complicated, just to get by. But now i've got a new boxmod and some new flavorings and i want to experiment a bit so i tried making this TFA cola and FW sour mix just to try, but right after adding the sour in the bottle already containing the cola flavoring i saw it sepparating like oil, there was a large amount of clear liquid and just a tad bit of "oil" on the top the same colour as the cola flavoring.

Do anyone know what this could be? Is it oil? Made me kindof nervous since i know how bad vaping oil is so i didn't even finish making it.. such a shame since the cola smelled sooo good.

To test for oil:
Might obtain 4" glass (see thru clear) bowl and fill with water. Place one drop of sour and observe. If drop dissipates , chances are flavoring is ok. Recommend to check cola in same fashion.
If sour drop does not dissipates, and sinks or remains a viable drop, could contact blender. This is a crude test and could be used as an indicator. The blender would have more pertinent information.

Thanks brother bob, will do that! Did blend up a batch and after a while the only wierd thing was that it was cloudy. But the taste wasn't that good so i wont bother using the cola flavoring again.
