OK, first, I do not recommend vaping to anyone who isn't starting it to replace smoking. I see it as harm reduction because I believe that it is safer than smoking. That being said, just vape USPG vegetable glycerin. You can buy it by the gallon and it's cheaper than juice. Check with your local pharmacy for best prices to avoid the substantial shipping costs.

You can make a mix of just vg and pg. but why? You’re concerned about the hazard of flavors, but not the possible hazards of vg, pg, coil and wick?

Normally, I’m not against people who have never smoked vaping - if it keeps them from ever smoking, I think that’s still a form of harm reduction. I wish it had been an option for me in the 70s.

But I have no idea why you want to vape at all. Seems like you just want to sit at the cool kid’s table and make clouds. Which, okay, you do you. But for Pete’s sake, educate yourself. If you really think flavors are the biggest or only danger, you do not have enough information to vape.

Flavors are a huge unknown. By minimizing or eliminating them, one definitely reduces potential risks.

I understand that. But they’re not the only unknown. I do not understand risking anything for no return. I risk it to quit smoking. I can see risking it to keep from starting, or even because it tastes good. I cannot understand risking it just to make vapor. It just felt to me that the OP did not know there are other risks to consider.

The guy said he has smoked cigarettes.

I think that makes vaping (however he does it) the safer alternative, honestly.

As far as nic free 0 flavor juice, get some VG and (potentially to extend the life of the coils) add 10% DW. Should still get huge clouds, you can check the DIY vendors on where to get VG most cheaply in bulk It will be a large discount and you don't have to buy huge amounts. You could also use PG instead of DW, but you may find you prefer MAX VG, period.

Good luck and hopefully you have cloud chasing coils that are capable of a lot of VG

It's not easy to find, however. I can't find flavorless nicotine free juice.

"Flavorless nicotine-free juice" is sold at most drug stores and pharmacies as Glycerine USP (we call it VG or "vegetable glycerin" but really it's the same molecule regardless of the source, and "USP" is the important part). Look for it in the skin-care aisle. Walmart sells Humco brand. For unflavored, zero-nicotine, that's really all you need. Depending on what kind of tank or atomizer you use, you really can just put it in your tank and vape it straight or, if the pure VG is too thick/viscous to wick properly, you can add one or both of the following to thin it out some:

PG = Propylene Glycol USP. Tractor Supply or your local farm supply vendor should have it in gallon jugs. It's added to (goat? sheep? some sort of livestock) feed to prevent a certain type of illness.
DW = Distilled Water. Available at any grocery store for about $1 in a gallon jug.
