I purchased a bunch of halo flavors and almost all of them have become too sweet with time. I loved Tribeca and Freedom when I got them first. But two weeks later, I can barely vape them. Tribeca has this weird taste - almost kerosene like. Same goes for Torque 56. Not that I've ever tasted Kerosense - its the smell. Tiki and Malibu taste horrible - like cotton candy gone bad. Menthol ICE, Smooth 8 and Prime 15 are the ones that did not change. Prime 15 is my least favorite of all anyways so I don't really care much for it.

So I'm guessing, steeping is just bad for Halo juices? I really loved Tribeca and Freedom and I wish they would always taste the same as they did when I first started vaping them. :(

I think they all (from all vendors) change a little with time. when I first started I was using some liquid from liberty flights. after about a month I decided the flavor was a keeper. I was about to order a big bottle. the very next day that liquid had that kerosone smell. now that I've been vaping about a year, I've only had a few flavors (not from halo) go from favorite to gross. I think it is more likely your tastebuds are changing. i would set them aside and revisit them in a few weeks.

I've had this happen too, had to put away my halo prime and tribecca for a month once because of it (over the winter sometime)...now they're back in my daily rotation and being vaped more than ever.

i have the same issue and well, my juices are only 8 days old! i was not able to vape them at all, the tribecca is far too sweet and caramel like. the prime is just like a rance candy bar and the belgian cocoa like a hersheys bar gone expired. tiki juice is just uum not so tiki. maybe the juices were affected by warmer climate during shipping? bc all i hear is positive reviews about halo and i'm sitting here thinking something must be wrong with my senses because i'm not having a good halo experience

I think all this is normal when you first quit smoking. your taste buds will be all over the place. my first experience with this was my favorite juice started tasting bad and I wondered what was going on. it tastes like burnt popcorn to me. then after a week it will start tasting great again. sometimes you just have to start using a different flavor for a while and then your back to what you normally use.

I drank a Monster Energy and right after that, my Tribecca tasted bad. I was freaking out! I drank a glass of water and all was right with the world again LOL I'm about 2 months in from quitting analogs and I've had some weird taste bud issues along the way.

Same here, my Captain Jack tasted horrible one day after having some coffee. Almost lost it cause I just placed an order for a 30mL bottle the night before.

Yeah I've totally noticed that playing with food or drink flavors in my mouth can enhance my vapping experience. For example I had a passionfruit and then smoked my green apple and it enhanced the flavor. I had 77% cacao chocolate and it made the green apple potpourri notes come out. I'm giving Prime and Belgian Cocoa a try and see if I eat something bitter or more neutral it might help in enhancing the less sweet notes in these liquids. I'm trying really hard to find the magic you all find in Halo. Cheers!

I've also noticed a change in flavor with both Torque and Tribeca flavors. These were my 2 favorite flavors from Halo and if I Vape them within a couple months, the flavor pretty much stays the same IMO. But I vaped both the torque and Tribeca after 6 months and both flavors seemed to get really sweet tasting and just a bit to sweet for my liking. But as long as I don't let the juices get too old, they taste great.
