Flavors that were surprisingly good?

I came across some Rosewater liquid from Vapor Station and the stuff is PHENOMENOL! I wasn't sure what to expect... vapor that tastes like flowers? Well, it doesn't really taste like flowers, its just delicious.

So, I was wondering... has anyone ever come across a flavor that they weren't sure they were going to like and found out it was amazing? If so, what were they?

Chocolate mint from madvapes. I know, that's a pretty common flavour, but three things: 1) Chocolate is a hard flavour to get right in a juice, and you more often get that crappy fake chocolate flavour; 2) I like peppermint patties but I was never a menthol smoker; and 3) madvapes is incredibly hit or miss with its juices, and from the sampling I tried, it's much more often a miss.

But surprisingly, I not only liked their chocolate mint, I loved it. The chocolate was more of a dark chocolate flavour, the mint was a wonderful cool peppermint, the TH and vapor were good ... it was really like vaping a York peppermint patty. I have to get more.

I once tried a rose variant from liberty flights, it wasn't really for me and I couldn't vape a whole Ce2 clearo of the stuff (something I could normally do without too much hassle, even of a so-so juice.)

The rose smelt and tasted just like the bottle name: Rose. Only after trying it (and isn't this always the way with juices?) did I realise I had no desire at all to vape rose! It was Turkish delight, ish, but also very perfumed, it was as you suggested flower like. It could never be a all day vape for me.

However to answer your question, I really didn't think I'd like banana creme as much as I did. From paradise vapes uk (also the FSUSA version is quite good) it was a really pleasant surprise. You could even taste the cream and the banana flavourings: whilst strong were blended so well with the soft cream. It wasn't just an artificial banana milkshake flavour, rather, there was more to the juice then that and it remained subtle enough to not irritate.

Watermelon Titan juice also surprised, I thought I'd hate it, but actually it's a pleasant background dessert vape.

I've yet to try a chocolate flavour that I liked. I do genuinely really like chocolate however so to find a vape with it in, which is the gunuine article would be great. The chocolate mint described here does indeed sound good.

With choc flavours I find it 'the exhale' which tends to spoil them. They can leave a strange, artificial, almost burn't hot chocolate like taste in the mouth which is a nasty surprise when on the inhale the flavour wasn't too bad. I found this especially on hot choc cookie from decadent Vapers. I've since tried White chocolate from paradise vapes and it has an equally strange, burnt like aftertaste. chocolate orange, again form PVapes also had the unpleasant aftertaste also. Perhapes a mint variant masks this somewhat and makes them a little more palatable?

I definitely agree on the poor chocolate flavours. I've yet to have a truly good chocolate-flavoured juice. And to be honest I thought about whether it was the peppermint that made the difference in MadVapes' TopVapor juice, but I concluded that, no. Even a good peppermint can't completely hide a bad chocolate unless you overpower it to the point where it might as well just be peppermint-flavoured. The proportions of chocolate to mint in this juice was just spot on, and you can taste equal measures of both. Not too sweet, not too pepperminty, just a really nice cool choco-mint vape. The best part is MV's juices are cheap as hell - $15 for 60ml, so since I have to pick up some 2.5ohm dualies from them anyway, I'm gonna get a couple more bottles of this. (I only got a 5ml sample last time, which was just a straight up tease once I learned how good it was.)

I've got three different choco-mints coming from Juicy this coming week, so I'll get to compare -- but I'll say already that since I've tasted a couple of other flavours that had whatever chocolate flavouring they use in them, I'm not holding out much hope.

On a lark I tried Parmesean Cheese. And it was a surprisingly good vape for me. Not all day, not everyday, but once in a while, I like the change up from fruity and sweet.

This is kind of surprising. Savory flavours are already a dicey proposition to begin with, but cheese flavours in particular I'd think would be really hard to make taste even remotely decent. Now I'm intrigued.

Grandpa's mix from MadVapes.

A lot of reviews on it and everyone describes the taste different but no one really knows what is in it. I had to try it but was not expecting to much since I don't like tobacco flavors. I got it as a sample and the first hit was like a fruit explosion but on the exhale there was a savory, sweet, tobacco taste. It's really good not an all day but nice to have a little laying around.

It was surprising. lol I would just add it was best for me in a standard Boge carto to avoid a burnt cheese taste. But, it really does taste like Parmesean Cheese. Got mine from FSUSA and it was +1 added flavoring. :)

Trying a cheese flavour blind with extra flavouring? You are a brave soul indeed. :) I've have FSUSA bookmarked forever, so I may have to browse some flavours soon. (But not yet. I've got another 12 bottles form Juicy to sort through later this week.)

After ordering several waffle flavors that all tasted like syrup I was shocked to find one that tasted exactly like waffles with just a touch of syrup and not too sweet. Incredible. From KickBassVapor. Also didn't expect to like thier 555. I don't like many tobaccos. It's the mildest, best tobacco I've vaped and like nothing else I've tried. One more - I hate fake banana taste but had to try Ave's Gorilla juice. WOW. It's in regular rotation. Love the stuff. :)
