Flavors with different attys

I had posted a thread before about the disappointing taste of some of the fruit flavors such as peach, banana, apple from FA.

Followed some of the suggestions and got some improvement, but not much. Those same flavors suddenly came out better on my 901.

First, I vape carts with 901 and 510's. I use a VV Buzz (now selling), a ProVari, and 3.7 v units including a screwdriver MKII, Icon, DSE 905, and my remaining eGo's which have failed me miserably (7 out of 10, and 3 Rivas). Will never again buy a fully enclosed unit! I am awaiting an e Power which is an eGo look alike with a replaceable switch and battery.

Over the course of a year (April 20, 2010 since I quit). I have tried everything from cartomizers to dripping. I do not like cartomizers nor any of the bigger atty styles like the mega Ego or 801: they have a very hot taste.

Anyway, my 901 works great with the fruit flavors and my 510 works better with the cake/coffee flavors.

I was wondering if any of you have found the same.

Plenty of us have had the same experience. I use both 510 and 801 atties and I usually vape LR @ 3.7V. The flavors do taste different between the atties. Creamy, fruity flavors taste better with the 801s and coffee and tobacco flavors taste better with the 510s.

I almost gave up on cartos until I tried out the LR Mega 510 and 808s from IkenVape. Those have made all the difference for me and they're the only cartos that I use now. Tons of flavor and vapor even after using them for nearly a month.

I've had similar problems. Some of my flavors like loranns strawberry-kiwi & mango only taste good to me on a 3.7v 510. They have a 'burnt' taste when using my 510 box mod w/ 3.2 ohm atties.

Same issues as you described with the different atty's and taste. Now, it seems to me there can sometimes be a big difference in taste between 510 atty's. I did find at the sacrafice of some throat hit, the 901's have more taste. I got the Infinity VV and a 510 to 901 adapter and can check out each juice easily for throat hit & taste and go from there.
