You're about right for vaper's tongue, if that's what is happening. It's a weird phenomenon and no one really understands why it happens (at least, I haven't seen a real explanation, but I do have a theory that one's new tastebuds are growing in from quitting smoking, but that's only a *theory*). Do things to cleanse your palate such as drinking citrus liquids (some ppl like Orange or Lemon zest), and chewing on a cinnamon stick may help, just basically things to clear your palate and return your taste buds to normal. Staying hydrated is important. Also, varying your e-juice flavors may help, as well as using strong flavors like cinnamon or mints. If that's not helping, vaping unflavored juice may help, as if you don't have the "expectation" of flavor, you won't be frustrated. Then, in a couple days, try again with your regular juices.
I'm assuming that you didn't switch up anything else besides coils? No higher wattage, different coil, anything like that? If you have the 0.7 coil you might try that as well, it's a flavorful, cloudy vape and lightly sub0hm, but nothing too overwhelming....
Some people find the end up loving one or two juices, some folks vary flavoring a lot. When my flavor starts to mute, it's sometimes a sign that I need to change my coil, but from your post it sounds like you are having this problem with brand new coils?
How long has this been going on? If you search on the site about "vaper's tongue" you'll find more information and remedies on the subject....
Hope this helps and hope your taste returns soon. Best of luck.
