I have tried a lot of flavours. I'm now DIYing. I've come to the conclusion that I may have to stick to tobacco...I'm liking a Fluecured. Most fruit, dessert, beverage flavours leave me a little nauseated, if not downright sick. Even the Tobacco can leave me feeling a little sick, sometimes. This never happened with a cigarette, unless I REALLY overdid. I've tried lowering VG, and although it's better, the underlying sweetness of most flavours is not for me. I'm not vaping heavily, so I don't think "overload" is the problem. I read a lot of reviews, and it seems that most people like a lot of flavours that I seem to find sickening. They don't taste bad... in fact, at first, they taste good. But after a few vapes, it's like overdoing dessert, for me. Are any of you having the same experience?

My previous juices were 11mg and18mg...In the last week or so, I've lowered VG, so that my mix is now 80/20. Because I'm using a PG base with 28mg of nicotine, obviously my level has gone up. I plan to order some plain PG. The sick feeling also occured when I was vaping 11mg as well...so I'm thinking it's not the nicotine. I don't know what it is, but I'm considering giving it up. I've tried many flavours, changed PG and VG levels, and still, most of the time, I feel slightly ill....I strongly feel it's vaping related, as I feel fine in the early morning. After a few vapes, by mid afternoon, I feel awful....

Sharon, I don't like dessert, candy and fruit flavors either, only vape tobacco and 6 mg (down from 12), and I vape a lot. Unfortunately, some so-called tobacco flavors are still sweet and very rich. If you don't like heavy flavors, like I don't, how about trying something lighter? Break it up once in a while with something heavier. I vape genuine Dekang a lot. Their USA Mix and Tobacco flavors are pretty light. I know you can get genuine Dekang from Best electronic cigarettes_ecigarettes_eliquids_ejuices - Heaven Gifts and Cignot ® (try samples), but don't know how Canadian Customs works. Others maybe able to offer you more Canada friendly vendors.

Edit: also, some vendors like http://www.tastyvapor.us let you reduce/remove the sweetener. I hear TV takes a long time to ship to Canada though.

Sharon, I enjoy sweet/fruit/desert flavors but they make me feel a little gross after awhile. My daily vapes are mainly tobacco flavors. I love Dekang RY2 and RY4, but those may be a bit sweet for you. Have you checked out Liberty Flights tobacco flavors? They have a wide variety, from heavy and sweet to light and mild. I'm not sure about the shipping situation up there, though.

I did get one tobacco from Liberty flights...a Juicy Clear...Hexport Heh, I think....I didn't like it. RY4's have been too sweet? Is an RY2 lighter or less sweet? I'm afraid to order from outside of Canada now...I get my flavours from Perfumer's Apprentice. Is there anything there that you'd recommend in the tobacco line....

Have you checked out the postings in the Canadian Forum? Maybe they know more about Canadian vendors. Also, check this Forum Suppliers list Forum Suppliers - Sortable List and sort by region. I see 3 Canadian suppliers.

I very much go from tobacco flavors to sweet flavors. I haven't fallen in love with the fruity or dessert flavors (except honey and caramel). It's really very subjective. I think the nictone vs vapor level is of most importance. I need a good throat hit along with feeling satisfied with the nicotine level. I really didn't feel satisfied with any nicotine level below 18mg, but now I think I've found that 'sweet spot' with nicotine versus flavor (and I'm partial to the tobacco and caramel-ish flavors). I also like some good coffee flavors when I'm downing the iced coffee. :) Best of luck to you!

Thanks all! I'm going to order some more samples of Tobacco. I think I may email the vendor, and ask for suggestions for a light non sweet tobacco similiar to Fluecured. I'm glad I'm DIYing as this could be a little expensive....

I'm rather relieved to see that there are others like me though...I was getting very discouraged. Yesterday, I almost bought cigs. When my husband asked why, I said I'm sick of being sick! The trouble is that I know the cig would taste awful, too!

Does anyone ever vape just PG/VG with no flavour added?

Sharon, sorry to hear about your problems. I have gotten to where I only vape tobacco too. Several flavors I like but can't vape for long. Cola and Brandy are the only two sweet ones that I still use. You can vape just PG or VG with nic and no flavor and see if it is the flavor or the base that is making you feel poorly. I personally like Liberty flights silk and ECblend 7 leaf because they are not as strong on the sweet side of tobacco. You may also like Johnson Creek original which is a strong flavor but not sweet or nutty at all. Order small with JC though it is about 50/50 that like it from what I have seen.
