don't know about fruity flavours, i have most of their tobacco flavours and confirm 1 or 2 % is enough for a giant tasting vapor.
I read somebody use 3-4-5 % or more... those guys should have fried taste buds.
comparing to other commercial (DK, Janty) liquids , a flavourart tobacco mix at 1% is more tasting than those.
1% is good for me.

I think it is around seven buck to ship from Happy Vaper to Virginia, so not too bad if you are ordering a few things. Conversion from US dollars to Can dollars, is very close - just a few cents difference. Paypal and my crdit card does the conversion for me, so I hadn't really thought about it.

One to four percent is so much better than the 20% you need to get a decent flavor from LorAnns. And FlavourArt flavors are so much better tasting.

It's the reason I won't try some other flavours - I don't like the idea to have to pour so much stuff into my liquid, and in the end, almost all of the time, you don't even know for sure what exactly you pour in. PG? Water? Alcohol? And how much of each?
Those concentrations are fine in the kitchen, where most people don't operate with 1ml-measurements, but not when it comes to vape.
In the end, the FA-flavours are a lot cheaper, too, of course. Even if, depending on what you compare them with, a ml of it is initially more expensive.

Their flavours, of course, are also mostly excellent, haven't had any vanilla liquid, for example, which even comes close in taste to the Vanilla Bourbon. Occasionaly, a flavour won't be that good, seems they are not perfectly happy with the peanut themselfes, that on its own just isn't that great. But what the heck, I'll probably find some use for it, and if not, it was no more expensive (actually cheaper than most) than most 10ml-bottles of liquid, and I sure have a few of those I'm not fond of, either.

And FAs are diluted enough that you can handle them with what instruments we have, too. I will get flavours next week that are so concentrated that you need only to use 1-3 permil; somebody else ordered those and can't handel them, so I am getting them very cheap. ;) But unless those are very good, I don't think I will get a lot of those. Too inconvenient to handle.

 1-2%???????? Using my new 26mg unflavored and FA Spicy Cinnamon Candy, I made a batch of 4ml, using 4ml of 26mg + 30% (24 drops) flavor! And I'm still having problems tasting the cinnamon! Are my taste buds that burnt out????? What am I doing wrong??

I tried the FA spicy cinnamon candy. If there's any cinnamon flavor in it, I'd like to know where. I tried it at 1%, 2%, 5%, and 10%. Nada. I don't know what that flavor is, but it sure isn't cinnamon! It's downright awful.

I also tried their regular cinnamon. Blech. Then I picked up some Lorann's cinnamon oil locally, and it's perfect for me at 1% flavoring. I love it!

Good to know I'm not the only one. I thought for sure that I must be doing something wrong or have absolutely no taste buds left. I also have Capella Orange Creamsicle that I'm waiting to mix with my 26mg, but no bottles left to mix it in. So would the general rule of thumb still be the same - 1-2%?
And what about Lorann's flavors? Are they stronger than FA? I'm waiting for a shipment on 4 of them and would like to know in advance how they should be mixed.

I'm VERY new to DIY, so I can't be of much help. I *think* that most people use 5-10% flavoring, depending on the brand. The reason I only use 1% of Lorann's cinnamon oil is because it's VERY sweet and strong (to me, anyway). I first tried it at 5% and my hair was standing on end....

I like the Lorann apple, too, at about 7-8%. I was going to be a DIY mixing fool this week to try out other flavors, but I came down with a cold (sigh), and I can't taste a darn thing right now except for my mint liquid.

Hmmmm. Well, here's to you and I figuring this whole thing out one day but it sounds to me like you've got a pretty good idea already. :) At least you can taste something! I just tried the Capella Orange Creamsicle at 50% and....nothing...no taste at all. Sooooooo frustrating! :-x
