Hey guys...new to rebuildables and bought a term-c....having two problems....first off is i cannpt get this thing to fire on anything but a mech mod...my vamo and zmax both say low ohm on the screen when i try a test fire...im thinking because the mech mod has no fail safes that it just fires anyway....any ideas? Yes i may need a class in wick building...problem two....i get the wick to fire assemble it as per the multiple youtube videos and the thing floods like you wouldnt believe....literally juice drips out of the bottom 510 threading...any help there? I know i bought the most advanced rebuildable possible, but im tired of spending gobs of money on cheap crap..plus this thing looks beautiful on two of my mods...so save me the i told you so newbie and please help me...

Vamo won't fire below 1.2 ohms, Zmax I dunno (I don't know which version you have but from what I read it has an amp limit of 4 amps?)
Provari goes as low as .8 but it does perform better above 1.2 as well

the vamo should let you at least check the resistance (even if it wont fire the device)

if your TermC is the V2 try using 3 mm silica, that should stop the flooding, use kanthal 32 for higher resistance, add wraps as needed

The following tips have been helpful for me:

  • Close the juice control before removing the top cap and tank cap for filling.

  • Remove the top cap entirely before removing the tank cap, not just loosened.

  • Make sure the top O-ring (between the top cap and tank cap, around the mouthpiece) sits nicely and isn't mangled somehow, every time before screwing down the top cap.

  • Make sure the top cap is tight on the tank cap before opening the juice control.

  • Don't leave lots of extra wick at the bottom - trim it above the end of the center post.

  • Trapping the negative connection under the knurled ring has caused problems for some. There are alternate ways of making the negative connection, but I haven't used or needed them.
