Okay, bear with me.
I've got a kanger subox. My problems with fluctuating Ohms first arose 2 months ago (October I believe), and They've almost been corrected but not quite.
I've been wrapping with my RBA since I got this in July. However, feeling a little adventurous I decided I would grab a 0.5 OCC (for the sake of convenience if my coils pooched but i gotta go). Once I put it in....the Ohms were fluctuating ten-fold. A little concerned, I popped the pin open and made sure there was no short (yes, one lead was on the outside/other inside of the rubber grommet). Anyway,I popped it back in and sure enough it was still going crazy. I pressed the fire button for a quick second and released, and the Ohms instantaneously dropped down to more desirable levels ~0.7-0.9 (yet not quite 0.5). Id take a hit, and the ohms jumped back up again
reset
hit
resistance jumps (~2.2 every time....yes, 2.2!!!!)
reset
hit
resistance jumps.......you get it
So I got home and immediately switched back to my RBA....but then it started doing it to my beloved RBA too!! though not fluctuating as erroneously, it didn't stop. This persisted until finally, my vape started heating up. As long as the battery was in, the mod started heating right up and cooking itself (On or off). the display said "temp high" and it completley stopped firing. it didn't even give me a chance
To my luck, I brought it back to the shop I bought it from, and the guy was extremely courteous. he completely replaced my mod and gave me a new battery (which was a bit more of an updated model...nice touch).
But it's still kind of fluctuating until I fire to reset! it's much less prominent and less frequent than previously, but still enough to concern me. I just put an OCC back in today to try....it started doing the same thing as before!!
Could this potentially be an issue with my tank (I've had the same one the whole time, it was just a new mod)?! is there any way to trouble shoot/overcome this situation from happening? I'm sick of having to check my display before taking a hit every time.
Thanks to anyone who took the time! haha. cheers
