My new woodvil arrived - simply stunning.

But I'm having a problem getting the Nuppin to fit flush. There is about 1 mm of space between the top of the mod and the nuppin base. From the pics in the sale day thread I see a few nuppins and they look closer than mine. Is the gap happening on all the new woodies, or am I just clueless about how to adjust the 510?

Hmmm. It is reverse threaded, so counter-clockwise to screw the grub screw in the Reo Adj 510 in as far as possible, then back out to make atty contact. I have V2 Nuppin's on both of mine that the cap can go as low as it needs to for a flush fit. I didn't try to mount any of my V1's on them, but could if that is what you have and it would help you.

ETA: the V1's all fit flush on my metal LP Reos just fine.

Thanks Spydro. I was thinking the same with the v2's. i.e. let the base sit a little high and pull the afc down for a flush fit. So your v2 base does sit a little off the top of the woodvil?

FYI - I am not getting a flush fit with either the v1 or v2 nuppin bases on the woodvil with the new 510, but both sit flush on my metal grand with the old 510.

Thanks for your help good buddy.

Interesting. Two different v2 bases and a v1 base are all having this issue. The same gap exists with the odin too. If I pull the top cap / afc down on the v2's it hides the gap, so I will give it a maiden run as is. But I suspect this woodie may need to go back to Rob for a health check. Thanks again for your help Spydro.

I use an oring on mine. It feels safer- juice and heat protection. But, you haven't mentioned if you adjusted the nuppin's center post, which is indeed adjustable with the right grip. I used a rubber band and a snug-fitting flathead screwdriver, because I needed to bring mine out- to have a little more room. On yours, you wanna go in, if its not already.

Thanks Built. No adjustments yet. It might be worth a shot, but right now my woodie is busy making copious amounts of vapor. :)

Been running the Nuppin2 with the cap flush to the deck ( dual twisty's to .45) and no issues at all.
