I'll have to check out that vid - I got the Fluval foam pads - there was 2 in one box and I saw a pic I think of my one on the tips n tricks forum thread about fluval.
I'm not looking the the eGO (or the SB) cos it might be nice, I already regret looking at the juice Box cos now i want one....well that will have to wait lol

Eit: oh btw - bluegrassvapor sell a bunch of colored 510 attys and batts - they have pink too (and copper, my current want)

Hmm my foam pads aren't like the Fluval (fluffy type fluval) that Ms T demos in her 'How to refill cart' vid. Mine is more foam than fluff. It seems to work ok but Ive noticed today that it might need changing more often than I thought - or else I used it too thick to start with. I'll play with it some more.
I have tried using like a cap to straw but I seem to be useless at crafts because I can't get it to work right :-/

Great Pictures. Thank you. FYI, I separate my fluval sheet in to thin sheets too now. At first I made them to thick. Why I had to watch the video over and over, pause it and judge the cut. I also used to make the mistake of twisting my cart cap when taking it off and pull all the stuffing out of the cart as well, until I learned to pull it straight off, and then line it up correctly.
Thanks to this forum, I'm learning. :D

That kind. (I think this is the right pic - mine are FOAM not fluffy stuff - look like huge rectangluar sponges)

I must admit to getting confused in the pet store - they didn't have a lot in stock but the stuff they DID have was all called 'fluval' - does the fluffy one have a particular name or number?

CaptJay,

The Fluval box should say "Water Polishing Pad" - it comes in different sizes (to fit the different filter models) - it doesn't matter what number or size box, as long as it says "Water Polishing Pad"

I didn't see the foam kind when I was looking in the pet stores. I was going to try both, the Fluval and the Blue Foam...

The one that you have is the "foam" that is used for a lot of cart mods and I wasn't sure it was actually "foam" until I saw the picture you just posted.

I still can't sort all this information out - lol

The fluval I am using is not the foam but the water polishing pad. It is not competely rectangle, but rounded on one corner. Out of the box, it looks like one piece, but you will see that you can pull it apart into sheets. It looks just like the stuff in the vid. Oh what frustration over this cart stuffing. Won't we be glad when technology improves.
