I used to use the ce2's and bought the fluxomizers when they first came out. I quit using them because of the tubes cracking allt he time. I used the regular length one and liked how they worked. Well I ordered some of the XL Fluxomizers with the new tubes in hopes the cracking issues are solved. Now I have not had any cracking issues but these don't taste good at all. I have fluffed the wicks and pulled the black ring up some but still it taste bad. Can anyone give me any other ideas on how to fix this. Also do they XL's have more issues with this than the regular length ones.

Wow ,I should have proof read that, sorry about all the spelling errors, lol. Anyhow, I just watched the video from the stickies(totally missed that thread earlier) and I have one that I removed the 3rd seal completely and flipped the middle o-ring over with flat side up and it is now vaping very well. I have another one that the only thing I did was loosen the 3rd seal (cup) and removed the o-ring and this one is working great as well. Just wanted to share what is now working well for me.

Removing the cup seal entirely, and using only the middle ring, flat side up, works well. I especially like the conversion kits, which basically convert the Fluxomizer into a Vision. But the conversion kits are currently out of stock.

Yeah, that seal works great, especially with a drip tip instead of the included whistle tip. Best I can tell they are exact the same size as the ones in a micro stretch though. So if a person wanted to try, it might be worth canibalizing one.

I got sick of Pulling out and Putting Seals back in when Filling. So what I do is what I call the One Piece Mouth Piece/Seal, OPMPS.

I cut the Tube down so that it is about .125" longer than the Ceramic Cup. Then I cut a Cone on the Inside of a "White" Rev"3.x" CE2 Mouth Piece. The "Coned Out" Mouth Piece becomes the Seal at the Cup.

Here's what it looks like...

Works as well as Anything else I have Seen and is a Whole Lot Easier to Remove and Replace.

Zoid, looking at your cross-section, wouldn't it work the same if you just used the little rubber mouth piece that comes with them? I dont mean the flat one, but the small drip tip one?

Sure. Works with just About anything. I got the idea from People who use this Tech with a Drip Tip. The Black Rubber Nipple Mouth Piece was the First thing I tried.

It worked. But Maybe it is just me. Every time I put that Black Rubber Mouth Piece in my Mouth, I tasted Tire.

That and I would rather have a something that is Shorter verses Longer. A Regular CE2 Mouth Piece makes a CE2 a Tad Shorter with the Same ml of e-Liquid which to me is a Good Thing.

Actually Just tried something else that seemed to work. I just took another middle seal and put it on top of the already flipped over middle seal then put the soft rubber mouth piece in. With the ring down.

So far no juice in the mouth, unless I hold it upside down.

I "tilt" when I vape. Meaning the Battery end of my PV is Higher then the Mouth Piece. This makes the e-Liquid pool around the Cup Slots and Helps with wicking.

With the OPMPS, it does leak or get any Real e-Liquid in my mouth. As long as the Coned out Mouth Piece can Fully Seated on the Ceramic Cup.

Check out the CAD Dwg and you'll see that the Mouth Piece is Sealing not only at the Top of the Ceramic Cup, like a Flipped Cup Seal or an O-Ring, but also Around the Sides of the Ceramic Cup.

Leaking many times happens from the Top of the Ceramic Cup Slots. So the Key is to Seal off the Top of the Slots without Crimping the Wick.

If the Tube is cut Too Long, I get what is happening to you. If I cut the Tube too Short, It works fine but doesn't look as Neat.

Do the fluxo's "lose flavor" over time? I mean, if you use only one juice in it and refill it, after a certain amount of time, do you notice a lessening of the flavor? If so, does this mean they need to be cleaned? And will cleaning return the performance to like it was new?

As the residue from the juice being vaped collects on the coil and builds up, the flavor will diminish, as well as the amount of vapor produced. The darker, sweeter, and heavier the juice, the quicker it will build up. If you let it go too long, in between cleanings, it becomes almost impossible to salvage. Lighter and thinner juices can go longer (more refills) in between cleanings.

To me, a CE2 doesn't Lose Flavor/Vapor like a Filler-Type Carto does. Filler Cartos tend to Taper Off Constantly. Where as a CE2 will Taper Off somewhat but then will start to taste Burnt. CE2's tend to work Much like an Atty/Cart does.

And yes they can be Cleaned. I can Usually Restore a CE2 by Cleaning 4 or 5 times before they give out

I think the Key to Cleaning is Not Waiting until they Taste Burnt. Rather to Clean them a Refill or Two Before they do.

What works best for me is to use 2 or 3 CE2's in Rotation. I refill a CE2 4 or 5 times then Soak, Dry Burn, Rinse and set the CE2 to the side to Dry. Then I start a New one. This way I Always have at least one Cleaned, Dry CE2 ready to go at any given time.

I'm a DIYer, so I know very well what my juice is supposed to taste like. As soon as it gets a "bite" to it, that isn't supposed to be there, I know that it's time to clean the CE2. Usually it's at 3 or 4 refills, depending on the particular juice I'm vaping. If it's a dark, sweet juice, it may be only after 1 or 2 fills.

Yeah, I vape an Extremely Sweet Tasty Finger DIY.

If I wait until the taste Turns burnt, then there is a Huge "gunk" Ball built up on the Wick/Coil. Even with Dentek Brushing at refills.

Makes Cleaning and Dry Burning hard to get back to that Fresh Out of the Box Taste we All Love.

Sometimes the gunk ball will come in contact with the cup seal, or else the gunk will get in between the wicks and the coil wire, which causes the coil to raise up enough to slightly burn the rims on the underside of the seal.

Now that is One BIG Gunk Ball. LOL

Never quite had one that Big. Maybe the Dentek Brusing keeps the Size down?

Yeah...haven't had that happen in a while. That's when I learned to clean more often. I used to poke at the gunk ball with a sewing needle or pointed tweezers to break it up. Also quit vaping JC Swiss Dark Chocolate. That stuff will create a world class gunk ball.

Any piece of Crud that gets So Big that it can Lift the Cup Seal is definitely a Candidate for the Gunk "Ball" of Fame.

LOL !
