Flying with e-juice

I will be honeymooning in Hawaii this next week. Thus I will be on a plane and having to go through security. Does anyone have experience flying with a vape? Can I board with it, how much, and where can my juice be stored?

Juice can go in your carry-on (in the 1 quart bag) or in checked baggage.

Your battery is supposed to go only in your carry-on.

Be aware that many tank-style heads will leak e-juice due to the air-pressure difference, so don't fill your tanks before you leave! (And put tanks in their own baggie, so if they do leak it won't ruin other stuff!)

Have flown many times with vape gear, never a problem.

I only ever "flew" when I was doing "things" back in the 60s. You must be using some "speciiaaal" juice.

I put my juice bottles in individually sealed plastic baggies as well. I've been glad I do this as I've had a couple of leaky bottle issues....

I'd add that you can fly with your tanks filled, but you have to store them upside down (assuming bottom coil like Protanks or Kayfuns). I had my kayfun filled with my 4nine in my pocket on the flight and just made sure that I kept it upside down in my pocket. Didn't come out flooded or anything as air can escape through the juice channels as the air pressure changes.

I've never had a problem checking or carrying on juice. As long as it's below the 3oz you aren't breaking any rules

You basic rule is the same rules for any liquids: They have to go in your liquids bag, stick with 30 ml bottles and you can bring along as many as you want - up to the maximum liquids total allowed. E-cig gear is carry on. Batteries in PV's or in suitable plastic cases - no loose batteries.
